Questions about Mugen Online

I wonder if it's possible to play Mugen internet without being at InifinityCat. In other words, it is possible that another player who has the same Mugen mine (with the same SP, Chars, Stages, etc), can play online using a private server, such as Hamachi?

but I've heard of people playing thru hamachi.

I've tried playing via "remote control" on another users computer via teamspeak.
