Brucelee41126 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I've been noticing MFFA NEXT Tourney has been moving...really slowly, actually due to a lack of people coming online often enough for the matches to be played. Feeling a bit sorry for competitiors who often show up on the forum and chatroom, I thought why not make a secondary tourney? SO! I'm proposing a secondary, more common and shorter tourney. Why is it secondary? Unlike more official tourneys run by Lagato in MFFA next, these will be held all the time ALL tourneys in this area most be playable on PC, rather than having a possibility of going to consoles These tourneys will have a much shorter waiting time than Official Tourneys, if the match doesn't happen within a week, someone WILL advance, and someone WILL be made a loser, no exceptions All you get for winning these tourneys are like titles on the forums and bragging rights. No possible gift cards or actual rewards like tourneys like Lagato's can supply The Tourney has begun! The follow matches that need to be fought are: Black Chaos vs. tohnoshiki Alpyne D vs. Brucelee41126 Pretty silly in some cases, isn't it?

Hey, I'm all for it, but you'll have to say what game that is. I'd say that sounds like an arcade game played on a Kaillera Server. That itself opens up a bunch of games It should be mention that it can be something OTHER than a fighter. As long as the game itself is competitive Pretty silly in some cases, isn't it?

In that case how about whoever wins gets the choice of title between Champion, Winner, or (because this isn't really official) Badass of the forum. These titles can be revoked if beaten in another tourney of the same game or in an accepted match but evidence of the win must be posted. By the way, Street Fighter, King of Fighters, and the Vs series are all tied up, either one gets ahead by Thursday, or I'm running a random number generator Pretty silly in some cases, isn't it?

I decided to pt all the games into a number generator and randomize, the list is as follows Street Fighter Alpha 2 Marvel vs Capcom King of Fighters 2002 King of Fighters 98 Street Fighter II Street Fighter Alpha 3 Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter X-Men vs Street Fighter Street Fighter 3 King of Fighters 2003 I keep rolling until one of these series appears twice. Whatever game chosen when the series appeared twice, will be the game we play. And the game is... Marvel Vs Capcom Registrations are now open! You have until Tuesday to sign up. GGPO Thread (Has link to the actual program as well as a site that provides links to all the games GGPO supports Kawaks (Already has a few roms with it in it's rom folder, MvC amoungst them) See what works and what you prefer, and if you can't use those I will gladly help you with other options Pretty silly in some cases, isn't it?
