How To Rip Sprites (from sprite sheets) with GIMP

Hey Guys,

 

Here's a tutorial I made for Quickfist, but I think others could benefit from it as well. I don't know if there are any other GIMP tutorials, but here's mine. Keep in mind that I've never used GIMP before today, so if there's a better way to do things, I'm all ears.

Oh god no! Lol, you're nasty Ryon. Quickfist is a user on MFG who needed this tutorial. He could only use GIMP and my previous tutorial needed Photoshop. So, I did him a favor with this.
