if there is virus in adfly pages we should have scan proof, even if pages are dynamic virustotal logs all scans so if you can find a virus at any time, just one time, it will be logged forever, then just share the scan with everyone but nobody to my knowledge ever shared such a scan, despite all the hate adfly gets despite all the people who say there is virus, nobody could ever prove it, don't you think it's a bit strange? if we can say there is virus without proof, then I'll say there is virus in mediafire, so let's stop using mediafire right now, and we must replace all mediafire links immediately, so what are you waiting for do it now? no? get it now? without a proof we just aren't going anywhere? asking people to make some big changes without proving why they even should, that's not going to work adfly virus are like UFO, lot of people who believe yet no proof anywhere probably because they don't exist if you ask me, that's the only logical explanation I can think of

interesting (and pretty funny) i've never had this shit in adfly personally though we don't see what he clicked at the beginning though, it seems like he clicked the ad before clicking the skip button or something, which may be why he got redirected to another website anyway there is no virus here, he just got redirected to some scam site with a scam message, which is entirely his fault if he clicked the ad, still not a proof that an adfly page can embed a virus

according to dizzy they do remove char if there is a complain from IP owner and about the two servers i'm not sure but they seem to have an storage server and an app server this is speculation but perhaps is because they do run both a forum and a file server, while most sites would only do one or the other

you make some good points however i'm pretty sure mugenarchive file average is bigger than that because i've seen tons of large files up to 200M, if you browse the donald edits, they are 50-70M average per file anyway according to mugenarchive they are on two dedicated servers, since a justhost ded is up to 250 per month, the fees could go up to 500 per month this is a whole different story than paying a 15 per month shared hosting, even with a normal job paying that much would hurt a lot, especially if you have a family, children and all the stuff mugenarchive used to be on a shared server for years, and at that time the site was totally ad free iirc, they only started adding ads when the site grew really big i know because they made these info public, i can post the link if you want, but i don't want to be accused of spamming

What I said is there is no 100% ad free "massive" hosting plan "massive" is the key word what you can do with a shared server, you can't with a hundreds bucks dedicated plan how much were the hosting fees of mugencoder compared to mugenarchive? they basically host 40,000 files currently so I would imagine it costs the hell of a lot in fact it comes down to : servers do cost money if you have big servers, those which cost hundreds, then either you are very rich and can afford to pay from your own money, or you're a normal person and you need ads to pay the bill I would like to believe you but not once anyone provided a proof. I've tried to capture the freezing which happens EVERYTIME but as soon as firefox hangs or crashes, the video capture crashes too, I think there some kind of cpu bottleneck involved in the ad which kills any cpu intensive process, something really ugly is going on with these mediafire ads I can post the video up to the crash, but you won't see the actual freeze and crash since the video stops there, but you could at least see the ads popping out and bypassing adblock also I would like you to cut out the bullshit please, will you? you said there is virus in adfly? it is EASY to prove just post an online scan of page with the virus you said dizzy hates leechers, please show us the link where dizzy said that if you keep talking and don't post any proof then everyone will know you're full of s*** , sorry pal but that's the truth

virus on adfly are like aliens, lots of people believe in it, but there is no proof i have yet to see one evidence of virus on adfly if you have evidence then by all means show it now, not another time, now post some online scans of infected adfly ads, use virustotal.com it is the best online scan if you can't post a proof then just accept that there is no virus until proven otherwise never had a problem with adfly ads myself, the biggest bother is you have to wait 5sec, and sometimes there is a noisy video that i have to mute but this is nothing compared to mediafire popup ads which are freezing my whole browser, for at least 20 freaking seconds and sometimes i have to kill firefox because it won't respond anymore even after a while mediafire ads are cancerous to me, and much much worse than adfly ads really i believe all of this is plain hypocrisy you criticize adfly ads, make up some bullshit virus story, and you don't say anything about mediafire cancerous ads, plain hypocrisy I tell ya

I wouldn't trust his word on that unless he can provide a source He has a record of twisting things a lot, since he always had something personal against mugenarchive @Starmie I did try right click on firefox but it still fires the popups, even more than normal clicks, and my browser is still frozen for a while when I do it. mediafire has become my worst internet nightmare tbh :(

something tells me this is all bullshit, source or it didn't happen and btw mediafire links die too, less quickly than sendspace but they definitely die here we have tons of mediafire dead links yeah i have adblock and mediafire still manages to fire popups I wouldn't complain if the popups didn't freeze my browser, downloading from mediafire is now a nightmare

The download limit is because of leech who use a download accelerator, it has nothing to do with adfly. And yes you have to register an account on archive, but the good side is they won't delete files after 30 days of no download, like mediafire and others do, so at least you know your links are safe, and you can download whenever you need it. So yeah you have failed to prove how mediafire is any better than adfly. For me it's far worse, at least adfly ads don't freeze my computer, they are annoying because sometimes there are noisy video but at least they don't cause freezing or other crap like this.

How is mediafire any better? MFFA fees are not the problem, it is on shared server so it's almost free compared to the 500 bucks per month dedicated plans but since we aren't on ded we can't host much content here and we use mediafire for storage, and that where money gets involved mediafire has the worst ads I have ever seen, unblockable popups that freeze my computer, so again how is it any better than adfly, and how do you get massive storage plan with no money involved anywhere
