  2. I've managed to obtain a blue text Ho-Oh (Amazing)! Power level's over 2000 and I've beaten the "The Dark Four" challenge with him! He doesn't even flinch when he's hit... but that doesn't save him from becoming dizzy instantly after getting hit several times... X(

  3. I like source accuracy but I also like a touch of custom. Like my project, the fighters like Cammy, Guile and Ken have moves that they use in the source game but they also have a hyper move, in which they don't have in the source game. These hypers I speak of are their Lv 3s, in which they don't have in the original at all. Nothing wrong with spicing up the game in MUGEN isn't it? When I converted hsienthm's Morrigan to MvC2, I kept her Lilith-mode specials without the use of specifying a palette to use them and her Lv 3 Hyper, Eternal Slumber.

  4. It's not that someone made a better version, it's just that the issues found within the char before I started converting... well. At least now I should ask about said version of the character and see what my supporters have to say about it. And unexpected and obscure characters for conversion... for the most unexpected... NO ONE has ever thought Chotto-Komaru's Fox will be updated to fix that  guard freeze issue. Or even fixed up RedHot's Norimaro... plus, the wait list contains a crazy list of fighters I intend to put into the project. If they don't have enough attacks, I can improvise. I've been thinking about what I've done with this project. I did this to share with the community and I enjoy doing this because these fighters I'm converting might have a spot for an actual MUGEN Fullgame. One day, my 4 most wanted characters for MUGEN (Falco, Wolf, Feraligatr & Veedramon) may see the light of day. I wasn't aiming for the fighters to be accurate to the MvC2 source game but for them to have the MvC2 fight style in the best of my ability. I may have created few things for the project by MUGENizing a fighting version of myself, Gaomon, Strabimon and Ryan, but the title that fits me best is Author. I've done so much that Guild has placed me in the ranks of Contributors, along with ShinZankuro (who recommended me and WalrusLui for the Rank). This has really helped me just by talking it out... I fully regained my confidence now. Thanks for helping me get the courage to talk it out. And also, I thank NeoGeoKitsune for earlier on chat with that video.  I really appreciated it, both of you.

  5. I started this project when I managed to add Mouser's coding on WereGarurumon and Morrigan and they turned out well, plus, there was never a decent MvC2 styled Morrigan out there. I lost confidence because of the stuff with Cloudius' Cable such as too detailed hitboxes... and I checked against Whiplash's and Whiplash's better... so I listed the Cable I did as a failed conversion... which was a blow because I've failed once but I was hoping not to fail again.

  6. Answering these last 2 for Big Green

    1. I made a sprite of myself from scratch and it didn't turn out so good, due to lack of art skills to even sprite professionally... there was this spritesheet I used as a base to put my OC as a fighting version instead of driving a tank capable of jumping.

    2. Mouser, Vs Debuts team and POTs.

With those answered, passing the torch to... the topic starter: Ricepigeon

  7. Awesome! :-D

Who your fav pokemon and digimon overall?

    Fav mugen characters?

Also what other hobbies you do besides mugen?

    1. Feraligatr and in terms of Digimon, it's a 3-way tie between WereGarurumon. Veedramon and Gaomon.

    2. There were so many, such as hsienthm's Morrigan, Kamekaze's Shin Bison, Vs Debuts Talbain (Early version), etc. I forgot the authors of U. Rugal and Shin Akuma.

    3. Playing my 2DS or just chatting on Pokemon Showdown or Facebook. On certain days I'm really in a great mood, I'm walking and travelling all over the 5 boroughs of New York.

    Favorite fighting game?

How long have you been involved with Mugen?

    1. Marvel Vs Capcom 2, of course. And Super Smash Bros Brawl/4

    2. I've been involved with MUGEN for... I believe... 4 years.

What motivates you to do characters in MUGEN?

     your personal opinion about MFFA?

    1. The imagination that plays in my head seeing the characters fight in the style converted or regular if they have never been MUGENized before. Also, spritesheets I run across, usually at Spriters Resource or deviantArt and other places I can't list.

    2. It's like a second home to me. Made good friends here and there.

  8. What inspired you to start conversions & how did you start the MVC2 project?

When I began to study the MvC2 coding on certain characters and I thought I try it out. First conversion was WereGarurumon by the TGM. Then a couple of years later, I stumbled into Mouser's characters and compared to the source play style, they play so close and I began to study how he does it and see if characters are compatible with the coding. First few characters were a total success and I was thinking I should make a project out of it. I loved MvC2 to death and while I was playing the source game, I was thinking I should study the Tag System that REDHOT put on Norimaro. So I studied it for a while and did a lot of experimenting. After a while, I tried it out with Assists first and it turned out successful. Later on, I took it to the next level and began to experiment a Snapback, Counter and X-Over Combination OUT OF SCRATCH. The X-Over, Snapback and Counter used in the project, the coding is mine, no one else. After testing it out, I tried it on 2 fighters and I couldn't believe the results... it felt like they're in the source game and thus, it inspired me to finally start my project and I was so thrilled I went through so many paths trying to find a way to get myself into action and I finally did and made a public release of a long-time private character I made, whose creator of the sprites have given me permission to use his sheet for MUGEN. I'm happy and proud to have started this project and happy to have gotten support.

  9. So far, which was the hardest character to convert into MvC2 style?

    Do you like Dragon Ball?

Which character are you looking forward to converting?

    1. Omega Red by Cyanide. I couldn't get the original coding of his Carbonadium Smasher to work properly so I had put some tweaks. Got it to work though afterwards.

    2. Never watched the series as much but there's no doubt characters from the franchise will land a spot in my project at some point.

    3. There's so many I just can't choose. I really want to make these conversions the best in my ability. Currently I'm doing Cable then Dhalsim.

  10. I picked up an Epic Timburr with Lucky++ and an Epic Monferno with Gutsy++. Those 2 are my best ones. Since I'm at Rank 62 now... my Epic Pidove serves me no more. I believe it's because of that Special Trait Tree I upgraded. I believe you're more likely to pick those up if you upgrade the Special Trait Tree to the maximum level. My highest level tree is the Attack Tree which is Lv 7, because it costs P coins rather than those devious PokeDiamonds and I already used the Diamonds for the quick inflations, Time Stops and the Dark Balloon to get Pokemon like Articuno, Yveltal, Raikou, Aegislash, etc. I love my Gutsy++ Epic Monferno because he dizzies enemies real easy.
