Can't seem to find the PSD files. 

Great screenpack, though!

Took a little break. Spent the past few days working on the Hibiki/Len/Kugami palettes so I wouldn't come back with nothing. Still working on most of the requests, though. If you haven't noticed, I'm a slow worker..  (Wish I could dish out palettes as fast as Mr. Brock!), So I apologize if it's taking a little long.

Not adding these to the main post just yet.

Not bad at all Raneri, does this mean once you think you're good enough you'll be extending your palette skills with signature skills? And allow us to request signatures too just like we can do so with your palettes atm?

Oh, yeah. For sure. Though, I'll probably stick to this one style for sigs since it's how I do most of the graphics I edit. 

I need to figure out a way (if there's any) to make those lines effect over GIMP. My poor desktop can't handle Photoshop >.<

Actually, the lines are the only part I don't do in Photoshop. Once I finish up the background and all that, I transfer it to Paint.Net and fix up the lines there. I usually use 90 or 50 for the opacity (Out of 255). Or anywhere in between. Of course, if you want to make it bigger, just align them next to/on top of each other. :)

I actually just got into messing with sigs yesterday. It's pretty fun once you start getting the hang of it.

As for the effects, I added a red gradient with opacity (Background was originally blue), used a couple of smoke-ish brushes/blood particles, messed with the contrast a bit, and added those transparent diagonal lines for a nice little effect. And that's it. All I did to Ryougi was up the contrast and add the outer glow.

Albeit, I'm just starting out, I'm liking how they're looking so far. :D Here's the sig without the render.

Decided to give it another go. I'm not good at coming up with custom backgrounds, so I'll just be using stage backgrounds. 

In response to the Lifebars.. I dig 'em! Very clean. The names and titles are a really nice touch. Would have fun making portraits if you decided to make them/release them separately.

First time I've made a sig so pardon if there's anything wrong with it. Wanted to start out with something simple.  

Couldn't find this track on YouTube so I decided to upload it myself. (Had to go on a gruesome hunt for all the Melty Blood soundtracks..) It's short, but a nice pre-battle theme.

Aha, I'm glad you still do, Ryou! I used that color in the preview for that specific reason. :D

Huh, well this palette thread sure sticks out from all the rest thanks to it's presentation alone, in a style which I've not yet laid my eyes upon before. You really put in time and effort to make those beautiful previews and .gifs, for which I can only commend you! The only other thing I could think of preview wise is to, when people click on another palette, you see a different .gif with that palette but I'm not sure if that's possible to do at all.

 

Nevertheless, I'd love seeing more of your work Ran!

Thanks for the comments. :) If that's possible, I'd like to know! Would be a cool feature. The only thing I can think of that will work aside from that is an image that randomizes on refresh. Which is what I use in my thread at MFG. It'll more than likely work with .gif files too.
