"....well you can still use your own ki to force it out and end it earlier but that could lead to complications mainly that you will suffer excruciating pain, so just let it end normally." Lilith flipped hersepf back to her feet, listed herself and bowed. "Thank you for the match."

Though finding it odd that practically detonating a large amount of dark energy was having no effect, she nonetheless kept enough of a grip to deliver one last burst of energy while she was being slammed. And that's when she realized what just happened. "Oh... stupid knockdown rule..." She remained laid down as she crossed her arms. "You won't be able to use your chi for a while..."

"What a pain..." Lilith dashed toward Melina and took to the air, her hands holding what appeared to be spheres of dark energy. While she was aiming to land on top of her, allowing Lilith to land anywhere would cause her to slam the spheres into the ground creating an energy pillar around her certainly strong enough to launch Melina into the air.

Confirming her commitment to the attack, Lilith proceeded to spin around the punch and deliver a powerful back chop toward the back of Melina's head.

Lilith awaited Melina's next move as a dark aura began to be visible around Lilith. Shortly after, the orbs around her fired toward Melina.

"I told you before, I'm not used to fighting others." Lilith produced her orbs "One more down, surely your pride won't let you win by time, right?"

Lilith didn't make a move or even turn around. Although her back was exposed to her, she was sensing her movements by reading her aura. "Why are you hesitating?"

Lilith quickly scrambled to get up and create some distance. The strike she received didn't bother her nearly as much as the three knockdown rule that would cause her loss at this rate. (Not enough time to match her, it has to be a decisive blow.)

Melina's attack would come at a price. While the double punch would surely hit, Lilith had reacted with a punch straight for her face as it went down for her attack. The positioning wouldn't let her use her full force on it but then again, Melina "willingly" putting herself into it would make up for weaker force behind it.

(Gotcha...) When Melina got close, Lilith waited until she felt she had committed to her attack before she suddenly ducked and swept at her feet in one swift movement.

Lilith was momentarily relieved to have been able to avoid another down although disappointed that she wasn't able to score one herself. Melina confirmed her suspicions that Lightflare's style was the same as hers, albeit with differences. However, she had also hoped that Melina had revealed more than she intended. "You've never beaten Lightflare, have you? Beating me would put you a step closer to beating him." Lilith's "stance" wasn't her fighting stance, rather her stance fit more to her maid appearance than a fighter's one.

Lilith being off balance, she figured Melina wouldn't pass an opportunity. (There) Lilith proceeded to try and grab her reaching arm intending to use her off balance state to intentionally let herself fall with her and use the momentum to toss her back.

Though the attack would connect, it would only cause Lilith to be off balance rather than outright make her fall down as she hopped back and stumbled a bit.

Lilith stopped her beam prematurely once she saw Melina leap over it. (Now's my chance.) Noting that she was distracted by showboating to the crowd, Lilith dashed toward melina and attacked with an elbow strike intending to stun her with it. If successful, she would immediately follow up with a powerful strike that would launch her and bring her down again with a Misogi.

Lilith suddenly performed a technique Lightflare himself used when he used his dark abilities. She seemed to phase right through Melina and ending with some distance right behind her. She then proceeded to suddenly fire a powerful beam toward her.

Lilith got up and dusted herself. "Just a miscalculation..." She once again created her orbs and fired them taking a step toward Melanie after doing so.

Lilith hops to her left before taking a quick step forward and try to strike with a double palm strike with enough force to push her back if successful.

(I see...) Lilith stood her ground beginning to make the motion to fire another projectile as she watched Melina's movements closely.

Lilith hopped back as she created five orbs around herself. (Should be easy for her...) Lilith then had the orbs fire themselves toward Melina each of them with a semi homing effect.

Lilith was a bit surprised at the identity of her opponent. (She must be a regular here. I suppose it's not surprising.) She proceeded to bow towards Melina before going into a stance herself. I'm ready.

Lilith continued toward the arena, her mind too into her own thoughts to hear Melina. Once in the arena, she placed her right hand on her chest and sighed. (Concentrate Lilith... Time to show them what you're really capable of)

"Well if it won't be too much trouble. I thank you " She then heard the announcement "It's my turn..." Lilith proceeded to head for the arena.

(So, it appears that he is a trainer of sorts in this world. Now even moreso I must meet him.... although what does he mean by guinea pig?) N-no we're not related. I've heard that he and I were very similar and I have to meet him to see if there's any truth to it. It does seem that you're quite well acquainted with him. Perhaps you could intro- no, never mind... you have your own business to attend to.

Bavk in the training center, Lilth began to walk away and begin heading to the arena certain she would be one of the fighters called...as well as to personally meet Lightflare.
