  1. Hey now, I'm not bashing any gay people. I didn't single him out in the video. Omega took that video. I don't know if he configured it to use the Sword (causing Ash to spawn) or if it was just by chance, but the weapon, nor character change out per round. It's chosen once and stayed. It was just meant to be funny. Each character has a different trope/sterotype that they follow. They're just thugs. Don't think too much about it. I seriously meant no offense.

I am glad that you like the character though. Thanks for the comment and I'm sorry for any misunderstanding. It really is just supposed to be a funny thing. All of the thugs are treated that way, so it's equal. :)

Like I said, if it's a random equal thing, I'm not upset.  But you couldn't tell that based on this one video. :P

  2. As far as the character goes, I think he plays well, really smooth and quick. An awesome project.  However, if I had to pick something I didn't like, it would be the gay bashing.  If it were a random baddie every time, that'd be one thing, but you singled that specific one out for both the intro and win pose.  Not cool.

  3. Thank you.  A appreciate that.  I agree with you that maybe there really isn't an excuse to not have something, seeing that there ARE so many tutorials and such out there and provided by everyone, but it's still a, I dunno..."learning journey" and unfortunately sometimes a character or stage is the "guinea pig"  My next goal is to figure out damage dampening. REALLY figure it out.

Yes, I understand what you mean, but sometimes the Nice Char +1 is just something people say when they know they person can't fix it because of thier skill and they don't want to say anything mean.  It's kinda like a "Nice try, bless your heart."  *I*, on the other hand, get criticism and comments, which I don't always enjoy, but at its core, actually take as a compliment.  It means they actually think I have potential to learn and get better.

I love ALL of you.  I really do.  Even the ones that don't sugarcoat.  Still, I'm human and when something I spends weeks and months on gets called "trash"  it's hard not to let your pride get wounded.  I gotta get a tougher skin, I know that.

    Thanks again, Darkflare.

  4. Yea, that's not how I work.

That's unfortunate, considering that you were not always as skilled.  It feels to me, in my opinion, as if you accended the ladder and pulled it up behind you just so you could look down on those below. I don't mean that disrespectfully, but I find it disappointing.  So I just have to accept your harshness because "that's not how you work"?  It's fine, but I still find it unnecessary and undesirable.  I'm not trying to pick a fight with you and I don't find your CRITICISM unwelcome.  Its the added barbs attached that I'm not a fan of.

  5. - Hitting him out of certain moves creates a clone of him.

    - Terrible hitboxes.

    - Lack of cooldown and startup in normals.

    - Lack of damage dampening and with the above, you can easily expect to lose a quarter of your lifebar if Sinestro mashes his normal right.

Typical Multiverse thrash, as expected from a community that doesn't play fighting games.

Darkflare had some good criticisms, though I will say that the cloning has been fixed since then and a few other things that weren't mentioned here.  Cooldowns and the rest like damage dampening, I'm trying to learn, but it takes me time.  Much like I'm sure to took some of you. If you would like, please give him another shot.

Admittedly, it's true that I'm not an expreienced fighting game player.  I can't chain combos to save my life and any of you would crush me online.  But I love comic characters and I DO like fighitng games....and creating.  So no, I don't have the skill yet, but I figure if I just get in there and try instead of NOT trying, I can learn more efficiently how to make better characters in the future.  I am fully aware that my characters aren't "guild" quality, and that's why I'm ashamed to post there. I understand that most of the people there are elite players and creators and I'm not at that level yet.

Maybe that's why I keep my "trash" on the Multiverse. I suppose I could have just waited until I was better to try to bring Sinestro to everyone, but I have to start learning somewhere and I didn't see anyone else picking him up.  So, while I thank you for your honest, albeit harsh, criticsm because it helps me focus on my trouble areas, I wish you could excersise a bit more tact and consideration for the feelings of people who spend their time and effort in a attempt to gift you with something to enjoy.

I want to do better and give back to you guys, because I appreciate everything you guys give to me, but I need your help to do so.

Again, thank you for considering my updated character and providing me with feedback.
