  1. I'm currently a little too busy to spend a week re reverse engineering nitro+, maybe I'll get to it at some point and release another ripper but I wouldn't hold your breath.
  2. Nitroripper is probably lost to time, I'm afraid. Cheat Engine has a built in tool called Graphical Memory View that lets you see what an address of ram would look like if it was an image of whatever width, in whatever format. You want the pc/steam version, run it, connect cheat engine to it, open graphical memory view set it to rgba and scroll through ram until you see something that looks like a sprite, then you can should be able copy it out. It's pretty tedious which is why I wrote nitroripper to do it for me.
  3. Functionally all nitroripper did was rip stuff from ram when it was on screen, if you only want a couple of images and not like the 1000s of character sprites you could probably use cheat engines visual memory viewer while the image is on screen to find the sprites in ram and just copy them. iirc they were basically just regular bmp files loaded into ram.
  4. I was actually the person that originally ripped those and my mega got deleted with the source code for DMCA. IIRC someone on MFG did back them up and update nitroripper, so I'd try to find them (maybe on mfgs discord) I'd tell you who it was if MFG wasn't dead.
  5. Not trimmed or aligned, contains (I assume) all sprites from the new game, all sounds, and all set files unpacked comes with python script used to decode and unpack, does not contain alternate colours (the sprites are paletted, just the actual palettes aren't included) download
  6. Hey I'm better known to most people here as SFG. I make characters of varying quality sometimes, either for ai vs ai sites, or to see what is the limits of default mugen are like making a tetris ai, a raycaster engine (think original doom) or 100s of thousands of palettes, although nowadays I spend way more time helping other people make characters by answering any coding questions people have. I'm not the kind of person to post a lot on forums, only where I feel like my input is valuable so you probably won't see me posting much, but I do tend to read everything, and will be active on the discord.
