thanks guys ;3; im making some stuff right now infact XXD im glad to be back

i guess so guys  im kinda still maybe alive lol...

lately ive been so busy in the larger project (fandubs, fanseries, music) that all gaming and mugen projects took nthe back seat :( i recently got back into the idea of spriting but i can only really do smudged detail art not char art... mostly cuz i didnt understand spriting well... in other words i made vector paintingish art and stagifyed it... i admit to using the stage tool btw

but im learning a LOT and ive learned new engines as well :D im making a 2.5D fighter and ill show you all at some point

also making rpgs... but those are in the back seat hkjjhjkbvkjb soooo dont expect those anytime soon :P buuuuut

i learned flash and im gonna sprite an oc for mugen and make a char   finally im ready for it ;o; and  so im working on the char youve seen in my avatar completely renewed and well sprited and worked on with more effort

i also am gonna do stages again ;) and ANIMATE them woooooooooooooooooooot hells yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Jazz you need to take the painting asset to it off to me I believe a stage should at least be spirited or ripped but still god but why 1.1?

hey im sorry you dont like it :( my art style is really only painting like... im a horrible pixel art and animation spriter 

and it is 1.1 because 1.1 features new code and gameplay for stages... in 1.1 you can use 32 bit/full color images and it also lets you use a zoom code

if you are confused about the zoom part the two screenshots say it all one is zoomed in the other is zoomed out... 1.1 stages are better in my opinion

ok so for a wip this is quite nice  still stuff to be done no doubt but i really do like this char  it is just what i was looking for cuz the only other mc ive seen is as i have said before total shit DX keep at this char bro it will be my fav MC char until something better (tho not likely) is made... considering this is good and everthing else of mc in mugen is horrific... meaning probably no good creators wanna bother... but you broke that barrier... ill be looking out for updates

why well 1.1 has new stage features which i took full advantage of   like the zoom and the fact that my sff is 32-bit

yaaaaayyy i was literally JUST looking for a decent MC for my friend XXD i searched all day yesterday and found one and it was SUCH SHIT DXX but this looks much more promising so you are my absoulute hero in this moment... will test right away :D thanks so much for making this... hope you fully finish him and such

so what is ef-12 exactly you ask?  well like mugen it is a fighting game engine but the big difference is is is to make 3D fighters and no not just 2.5D but real 3d... you can go to the official site here if you want http://ef-12.com/  -  but ill post a dl of all the stuff you can get on that site including the engine  why it took me 30 min to dl it all and it was a lot of save file after save file... also to get the engine you have to register and with my link no need... still got to the site for other needs (tutorials etc.) please enjoy

How bout an option for tag team matches. so we can fight DOA/MVC style. as for stage interaction...well im a complete noob at staes but couldnt you just toss the stage into FF and throw some colison boxes on it with move contact state defs?

There is a way to do tag team, Google "tag team workshop" or something and you'll see. I've used it for Cosmi vs. eGames.

 ok i know about dat AND how to patch em with ff myself buuttt... THOSE PATCHES ARE SUPER BUGGY AND MAKE IT ANNOYING TO GAIN CONTROL ONCE TAGGED IN  so i think if elecbyte makes a actual tag option it would be better by FAR just what i think... i do use tag patches tho

Oh boy...Jazz, calm down. Its cool. Let's try to keep a cool head about this. The Guild has its share of jerks, but there are a lot of cool people there too. We get that you get that as well. My friend, focus on the positive feedback. If anyone gives you feedback that's negative, ignore it. Unless its constructive criticism. Then apply what you hey said and ignore the bashing. Its hard sometimes, but it will help you become a better creator. I'm speaking from experience... hates breeds hate. But I understand you just wanna blow some steam. But as much as people dispose the Guild as a whole, it's still frowned upon here...somewhat.

Tho, that's up to you. But my remedy for haters...is to keep dropping more hot creations for them to hate. Me...I love haters. They've fueled me to do my best on numerous occasions.

And they still do. And a lot if time they're closer than you are think...but most of the time they make their presence known.

My point. Be yourself. Learn from others. Learn from your mistakes. Learn to take constructive criticism. And show ANY opposition that you're serious about your art and your stages!

i not only understand the guild isnt bad but pretty much will never leave it or quit publishing there... once again i was just overwhelmed by the haters

in their defense this seriously looks like filters not drawing I do find it hard to believe this was drawn as I could achieve this effect applying a filter to it. Also no guild is mostly right about what they say they have real coders some professionals ect. So some ppl there really know what they are talking about.

I just read your post on guild you DID use a filter the things you explained are how a filter works. so yeah.

i said i traced it there not filtered laharl there is a difference but yes what my result was ended up much like filters... seriously filters do it without work whereas i did this but had the help of ONLY TRACING OUTLINES... so the actual image took some friggin work on my part and yes it was not necesarily worth my effort cuz i COULD HAVE USED A FILTER AND IT WOULDNT BE ANY BETTER THEN THIS... i will not have people twisting my words... yes now im getting pissed... i explained how i made it above

erm how? i said i redraw or more acurately trace it... the orig was wut i traced but i didnt just add a filter to an image... i did this manually... but as said before not done on paper so much as digital drawing tools  anyhow plz people stop telling me how i did this cuz you werent there   

also the guild ill admit is not all bad... i saw good reply's there to so im badmouthing the people who are being mean not the website... i know i said "the guild" but i guess i mean certain "users" the ones who NEVER like my stages... so im tryin not letting them get to me like i said but you are pushing it
