  1. so should i start a new topic for each character :P :D most things ive figured out myself..1-2 hours about fighter factory tutorials and the super meter move-problems are solved.. same for the infinite attack and all that.. but basically im having problems on reiji,yoshitora/wahiszuka and jubei with the freezing/infinite running etc.. especially washizuka is broken as hell also yoshitora because theyre unusable since they get hit and freezing on the floor -_- couldnt figure out what the probnlem is <.<
  2. no no no :D with ''f.eg'' i meant ''for example'' :) im german so my english's not always the best sry i thougt its spelled like that when you shorten it @Ryoucchi: yeah but duracelleur just edited zankuro by ali in his ''to-six'' mvc-ish style so zankuros from the list. im trying to get my ninja/samurai fullgame/compilation done so no space for two zankuros :D
  3. hmm..i aleready have zankuro edit by duracelleur... a while ago he made the to-six project where he was editing samuraishowdown/lastblade/kof chars with 4 button gameplay to 6 button with superjump,hyper bg new attacks etc .. if im correct he made about 80 chars and the characters played bit like mvc1 style so i was intrested if there are any other chars/edits like that or at least some that fit into a samurai/ninja theme (like ss,last blade,some kof karate-chars/maybe some anime charas? etc) to give you an overlook what i had in mind: ibuki from sf mvc mvc kenji/mukuro from red earth adon from sf/ vs-style earthquake from infinite strider hiryu by infinite /mvc hiryu etc so it dont have to be 100% accurate to mvc1 or something just 6 button gameplay, hyper atacks etc pls NO cvs char suggestions -_- (cvs style sucks because its completely different gaming style and hard to pull of hypers) and NONE of infinite's/R@ces/duracelleur creations simply because i have them all :D
  4. did you mean my last post f.eg? i thought about making a new topic but im asking here because id dont know all 2347508497 chars of mugen and the database section is sorted after games not after playable styles...so if there was a ''6 button mvc styled'' section or ''kof-style'' section it would be much more easier to search for specific chars than to look in every section downloading and hoping its a suitable style u know.. :(
  5. looking for any characters mvc styled that fits in a samurai/ninja theme except the creations of duracelleur and r@ce/infinite 6 button gameplay,super jump,hyper moves etc any suggestions?
  6. so right now im trying to get my oldschool smaurai/ninja themed fullgame/collection done. ive downloaded serveral characters from duracelleur and they are great and very fun to play... but when i first played with them ive noticed some bugs making these chars simply unusable.. if anyone could be so kind to tell me how to fix this or just edit them (i know..lack of time, laziness or no intrest) BUT these chars are great all in all and you wouldnt do something great just for me me but for the whole mugen community so if anyone of our veteran coders or mugen experts could edit them or tell me how to fix this myself i would really appreciate it :) (ive copied the text from duracelleurs ''to-six-edits'' release thread on mugenguild where i posted the bugs ive found) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i know duracelleur youre taking a break and im not tyring to be offenisve but i have a question: do you even played with your edits? serious question.. im not an expert on mugen but serious just on 1st playthrough and overlok your chars ive noticed the following -jubei- when you double tap backward he gets stuck in the air unless you press any any button - yoshitora- every time he gets hit by a strong attack he's ''freezing'' on the floor unable to get up -reiji- when you press run he keeps running uanble to press any button or command until he gets hit -galford- hyper move down,right x+y costs no super power -charlotte- mutiple times on playthrough floating up in the air in different situations -lee rekka- x+y is an infinite attack causes way too much damage and fills the super meter like crazy -washizuka- -freezing on the ground just like yoshitora, -after using hyper move ( down,left x+y) super meter fills completly no matter if you had 3 or 1 superbar before, -after getting hit and standing up when you press forward he does an auto hyper move attack even when you have no super meter -zantetsu- hyper move (down,left a+b) costs no super power -marco- every hyper move costs 3 powerbars and does over the half of the lifebar damage oO supose you reduce the damage and make them all lvl 1 hypers -kazuki kazama- not a big deal but power up sound when you pressing a+b sounds skipping and shitty as hell -bishamon- i couldnt even install this char oO no matter what i try he simply doesnt show up in my select screen? so all in all you chars are very fun to play and ive downloaded all of them but some of them are simply unusable.. im not a coder or something but you didnt even noticed that your char is freezing when getting hit on the ground ? this leads me to a simple question: you even played with them when you finished them? not just in training mode? or even in training mode? in any mode? wish you could fix that because the idea of converting 2-3 button chars into some sort of vs/mvc style is great and your chars are amazing simply just because you edited chars i wanted to play in a 6 button style since i heard first time about mugen. you really bringing me back childhood memories when you first released your samurai showdown chars in your style but its a shame some of the best are unplayable just because of very very big bugs you should have noticed when you played with your finished character.. -_- pardon if in any way i dis-courage u..i tried not to.   9. i recently downloaded this screenpack from cyberbit: http://www.paodemugen.com.br/cyberbit/cyberbit_main.htm all works fine only the title music wont play...i editet vs/victory etc music and it worked but when i try to add music for the title menu my mugen shows this: Entering main loop Playing storyboard ss_intro.def: scene Storyboard playback canceled 10:0 k0 p6 Finished playing storyboard ss_intro.def: scene Entering character select. attempting load and start...attempting load of data/samuraishowdown/cursed_battlefield.mp3...Couldn't open BGM file data/samuraishowdown/cursed_battlefield.mp3! error 1! attempting load and start...attempting load of data/samuraishodown/select.mp3...hooking mixer callback... success! ive tried with multiple different mp3s but no matter what i try the music wont play.. :/ my system def looks like this: [Music] ;Music to play at title screen. title.bgm = data/samuraishowdown/cursed_battlefield.mp3 title.bgm.loop = 1 ;Music to play at char select screen. select.bgm = data/samuraishodown/select.mp3 select.bgm.loop = 1 ;*2001.04.01 NEW* ;Music to play at versus screen. vs.bgm = data/samuraishodown/vs.mp3 vs.bgm.loop = 0 ;Music to play at victory screen. victory.bgm = data/samuraishodown/battleover.mp3 victory.bgm.loop = 0 i edited select/vs/victory music so the wrong system.def file edited shouldnt be the problem.. i just dont get it.. sound files are all located in the Samuraishowdown folder..so..? anyone who can help me please?
  10. first of all i have to say im a hughe fan of what youre doing because i was always disappointed that nobody had the idea to convert some old school chars to six button gameplay. ive downloaded almost all of your chars and i noticed some real issues on some edits. -kazama kazuki - doesnt get his powerbar filled up when he attacks o0* how im i supposed to do a hyper? -Zankuro - hyper special does waaaayyyy to much damage (3/4 lifebar) and has no sound animation ? - Amano - i didnt played him in original game but is he supposed to always stumble when he jumps and misses his attack? e.g : jump - hit opponent = everythings ok ; jump - miss attack = stumble . everytime after that when you jump , no matter if you hit or miss the enemy amaro stumbles... also serveral other moves and his grab doesnt inflict damage? is that supposed to be like that because of overpower or what? -Bishamon - cant get him to work on winmugen... ive downloaded him 3 times cuz i thought the file's corrupted or something but mugen just dont want him to show up.. no error or something... he just keeps invinsible and unselectable.. ninja power : like he was never there... yeahh -_-* LeeReka : ohh man i was a bit dissapointed on that one.. he was one of my favorites and when i played him he always get stucked or was floating/standing/fighting in the air.. a few things/little suggestions : -saizo could have his shadow doppelanger move for 1 powerbar in my opinion since i doesnt do any more damge like his bombs -juzo could have one more hyper move because his 2 moves he have are both for short distance. the grab-hyper where he slams his enemy on the ground is cool but you have to stand freaking near to the enemy to perform that one. how about one more move to atack from mid/distance? so far my feedback ;) is there any chance you do mukoro/shikyoh or musashi from last blade ? they were always my favorites and i think the would perfectly fit into your collection :) pls keep up the great work youre doing. btw: since i saw your edits i always wanted to convert some chars on my own. ive get managed to change the cmd - file so the supers and specials are easier to do but i ve always failed on re-mapping the attacks from 2 or 3 to 6 buttons ... how about a little tutorial without super bg edit and that stuff.. just for those people like me that share your ideas so they can try to convert their own? every week when im looking on mugen sites i see interesting chars and download them.. and when i play them im dissapointed like: ''hey that guy looks cool...great moves.. but only 3 buttons to play with..on my ps2 controller...narghhhhh wtf! whyyyy??!! ^^ '' what do you think? greetings from Germany,Berlin and have a nice weekend
