Exhibitions Rules

Last Updated May 2025

Exhibitions are user generated matches confined to the Exhibition mode. As of the time of writing, this mode is 15 matches, but may be extended upon request if the moderator judges there is sufficient activity. Currently, no single user can run back to back exhibitions or the mode will skip.

Below are the rules and guidelines for best practices during the exhibition mode.

  • No mirror matches unless for exploratory purposes. Exceptions for character/pal specific interactions must be stated in the exhib notes.
  • Matches created with the intent of directly harassing a user are prohibited, including use of the team name fields or exhib notes to utilize language against community rules.
  • Exhibition matches created with the intent of artificially lengthening or shortening the mode are prohibited, as is colluding with other users to extend or shorten the mode. Users may contact a moderator to lengthen or shorten the mode at the moderator's discretion.
  • Negative commentary on another user's exhibs regarding their quality, intent or content (characters/stages/music/format) will be treated as harassment. If you have a concern regarding an exhibition, please contact a moderator.
  • Each user is limited to one active account and queued exhibition at a time. Colluding with other users to evade exhib rules will result in all involved accounts being held equally accountable.
  • No calling for skips or queue removals for exhibs that are not your own. Moderators will only respond to such asks from the exhib requestors themselves.
  • Running repeat matches featuring the same configuration of characters and format (1v1, 2v2, etc) is strongly discouraged.\*\*

\*\* For example, Kung Fu Man vs Cutman run the same way ten times would be considered an excessive repeat, whereas Kung Fu Man vs Random Opponent would not.

These guidelines are subject to change depending on the state of exhibitions.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in moderation action, including match skips, removal from the queue, and temporary/permanent bans from exhibitions or the site/stream. Moderation action may or may not be escalated in any order over time per the discretion of the moderation team.
