Hi all, I'm asking on behalf of a younger sibling (sorry I have to relay the message) who's into importing sprites in FF. He stopped because of a deeply frustrating issue with palettes - when importing sprites into FF, basic poses would be fine, but when the character is holding a prop for example, the colour palette gets muddied (e.g. the character is holding a gray golf club in the original game, yet said prop in FF turns into the character's skin colour?). He's using the latest version of the game, and the closest tip we found was checking if the sprite image is in RGB mode on an external image editing program - it was in RGB, but it didn't end up helping. He tried looking at tutorial videos, however they were unhelpful as they were pretty outdated being from the 2000s. Thanks.
