Looking for a Char Select screen that fits this criteria

Is there any way to get a character select screen that has a scrolling list of character names rather than all portraits at once? as in, if i add another character it will simply add another entry on the list? like if i have 2 chars, there will be 2 entries and nothing else (no empty boxes or anything) and if i have 1000 chars there will be like 7 on screen and i scroll for more? Im asking this because i want a character select screen that scales with how many characters i have so i dont have to worry about not having enough space left. Maybe with a screenpack or something? any responce is appreciated. thx :)
