Editing background of screenpack

So i'm replacing the image file of the background in fighter factory 3, i use a different image,

and beforehand the original image has 3 duplicates of itself with 3 different pallete categories,

green blue and red, so i replace said images and proceed to test it, but the image i replaced the

original background with is much much brighter, so i try again, keeping the three pallete categories

the same, green blue and red, and its the same thing. Ifa nyone happens to be an expert with this

stuff, do tell.
