  1. While I already posted it in the collection, I'm not sure if they should go here as well. In any case, custom palattes for the currently Mugenized Monster Ancient Cline characters Delga, Othello, and Aleksandr. Each ZIP comes with 14 custom palates for the character, as shown below.

As an extra tidbit of information, 6 of the 14 palates for each character is a reference to another character, most from either from Monster, or another game.

  2. Oh, hadn't realized that the forums were finally back up.

In that case, back, and with big updates on the palates. Added a new palate to Delga, and created palates for Othello and Aleksandr. Each ZIP comes with 14 custom palates for the character.

  3. What exactly does this thing have going for it? Cheaper price and just that? Not very portable, worse backwards compatibility than the 3DS, and semi-pentagonal :redcard:

This doesn't really look like it was a well thought out idea. Doesn't 3DS already have switch to turn off the 3D effect anyway?

  4. The game's pretty good, but kinda unpolished. The most disappointing aspects would probably be:

1.) Poor AI (M-Katze is the only real challenge, and even then the AI is pretty slow)

2.) Lack of online play with others since the severs closed down years ago (as far as I know)

    Actually, why was this:

Ugh, everywhere I go, all I see about this game is "Contains Furries = Garbage."

even posted? I haven't seen a single comment in this thread even implying this statement. It just seems random.

  5. How about a Mega-Garchomp for Cynthia to go along with that Mega-Lucario? Maybe making it Dragon/Steel type or something? :=D:

Still though, I wonder why Lucario and Blaziken look like they fused with Yveltal while Absol and Ampharos look like they fused with Reshiram.

  6. (hey, I play MUGEN like a game when I feel like it).

Wait, you mean we're not supposed to play it like a game? I've been doing it wrong this whole time :omg:

It had many SHIT games. Games that belonged on smartphones and ipads. Just cause there were alot of so called "games" does not mean they were good games or make it a good system.

True, some of the Wii's games look like something you'd see in a Pizza Place for little kids. On the other hand, Xbox and PS3/4 are veering more and more towards interactive movies rather than games, so they're not exactly high and mighty either.

Huh...is it just me, or does it look like they've been sacrificing running speed and game difficulty for lots of new prettyful powerups/enemies? I only played New Super Mario Bros. Wii once, and none of the newer ones since, but it really looks like Mario runs a lot slower than he did back in the Snes/64 games. I'm not saying it looks like a bad game, but aside from the lava/ice boss, it kinda looks easy compared to the older games.

EDIT: My bad, I hadn't seen that this was a fan game

  8. That has been my main gripe about Nintendo: gimmicks. It's Nintendo saying "Hey! Look! We can do this!", and it's not what people necessarily want.

That's the word I'm looking for. Unfortunately, those gimmicks are also slowly spreading to the other systems (Kinect and PSWand).

This is the precise reason as to why Lucario and Pokémon Trainer are practically useless in Smash Bros. Brawl; Nintendo focused too much on getting a gimmick working, and paid no attention to whether the character was good or not. Lucario's output damage went up the more damage he received, but by that time, you'd've been KO'd anyway because of how slow he is.

And then Project M came along and rectified all of that :=D:

  9. As someone who doesn't really care much for getting this system at the moment, I'll try and give my piece of mind and remain civil about it at the same time.

1.) My Wii and Gamecube stuff still have a lot of mileage. I'd rather finish that stuff up first before moving onto a new system.

2.) Backwards compatability. No Gamecube disc/controller/memory card support. If I want to play my games, then in addition to paying for the system, I'd have to buy all my games all over again. That's not even getting into the issues of whether the games are even in the E-Shop, and all the data in my memory cards (seriously? Years of Chao raising on 5 Memory cards gone waste like that?) The reason this is an issue for me is because as the generations go by, and more and more egames come out, less and less of them really interest me. Being able to still play my older games if something happens to my older systems (Gamecube's started failing on me every now and then) is something I try to look for in a console.

3.) The game selection. Going to Wal*Mart, and some other stores, all I really see for the Wii U is ports of games that were already on PS3/Xbox. They didn't interest me then, they don't interest me now. I know this one will change over time with game releases, but at the moment, it doesn't really give me any incentive to buy the system.

4.) The controller. The thing that really boggles my mind with this system is that Nintendo basically decided to make a giant, 2-piece, DS system. I really don't see the logic in splitting a console into 2 screens. That this Ipad is also supposed to be a controller in addition to a screen... that design just doesn't look like it'll work... especially since I like playing fighting games. I've never actually played a Wii U, so please correct me about anything I get wrong about this issue.

5.) Money. At the moment, I don't have money to buy this system, period. On top of that, I've just now started considering getting a PS3 (I'm a little slow with the "Keeping up with the latest tech" thing), and I'm definitely not getting both. At the moment I could probably find a decent PS3 for a good price since it's been out for a while.

And then the tides will turn when Smash Bros. 4 is released. Just like the 3DS with X/Y.

There's a lot of truth to that statement :goodmood:  Still though, that doesn't apply to everyone. Killer Instinct isn't gonna make me buy an Xbox One, Kingdom Hearts 3 isn't gonna make me buy a PS4, X and Y aren't gonna make me buy a 3DS, and Smash Bros alone isn't gonna make me buy a Wii U.

Well um, that's my 2 cents on this matter.

  10. You know, when SNK ripped characters right out of Neo Geo Battle Closseum and put them in King of Fighters XI as bonus characters, it felt pretty nice. I didn't care much for the characters myself since I always stick with my mains, but it felt like a nice gesture on SNK's part. Kinda like a sort of gift.

This on the other hand...Now I'm really glad I never bought any of the Street Fighter IV games. This is either a genius business move, or just outright theft on the consumer :redcard:

  11. Oh yeah, the Jago only feature :redcard:

I wonder if there'll at least be some way for players to try out a character before having to buy them...Or will they just make you buy blind, then you find out you hate the character, repeat over and over till you find your perfect character, ask for a refund on the rest, and finally get Microsoft's response of "LOL No! :troll: "

Honestly, this sounds like a good idea on paper, except that this is a reboot of a decade old game, so today's kids aren't familiar with the characters, and everyone's been altered, so veteran players wouldn't be familiar with these new versions either. This sort of system would work with...say...Street Fighter, since it's been out long enough for people to learn their favorite character. This game on the other hand is pretty much a brand new series and only a few people have even tried the characters.

  12. It's just me or it's look like a Street Fighter 4??? Well, still happy this game has come back!

It does. If I remember correctly, according to an interview, Double Helix doesn't know how to make a fighting game, so they brought in people from Capcom and other companies to help make this game.

I grew up on Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and Nintendo, so unfortunately I missed out on this series. I kinda want to try this game out, if only because I'm really liking that sabrewolf, but......Xbox One :noway:

A lot of people sure are saying "Doesn't have that Killer Instinct feel". Is it just the Street Fighter 4 graphics, or is it also gameplay? I know there were some changes here or there.
