Actually managed to crop the images trough the new sprite option, and this is what i got:

Weird, there's no crop sprite selection on my Fighter Factory.

you need to crop your portraits. ("sprite" tab on fighter factory > crop sprite

Look closely, I already used the templates but still, the portrait is bigger than the box and my character's icon is off bounds.

I did NOT do anything with the system.def file for the Classic version. I just change the mugen.cfg so it uses the Classic version. Can somebody help me out ? Thank you. Btw that Double portrait i made it myself. Thanks template !

Does this char only uses close combat Pokemon moves ? Cause i have ALOT of ideas.

I downloaded it & looked at the select.def Its scorpion_Phoboss; and its not a scorpion with those sprites u mentioned

That scorpion is part of Shang Tsung when he does a certain kick motion, I dont recall a scorpion with those sprites released as a separate character

& now boom they work in 1.0 to an extent, meaning they wont crash( if they dont have the problem in red they should work in 1.0 without having to do anything to them , u can always make them alittle less buggy with the MKP patch found here

I was playing around with a MKP character i got, it was Shang Tsung MK Shaolin Monks. I was testing the moves, but something caught my attention, Shang Tsung is a shapeshifter, all of his basic attacks and some specials are from other chars. But the low kick, which is very eye-catching:
