Upgrading a encrypted mugen screenpack.

Is there a technical reason for the encryption on some screen packs? Or is the author just stopping people from editing? I just wanted to turn a screenpack from winmugen into mugen 1.1

All the files are hidden in an encryption. Here is the screenpack I am trying to fix: Unreal Screenpack

I have tried to remove the tag system from these characters.

I have testet it a little. If you go into the main cns file in the folder of your selected character. press ctrl + f and search for 5900. Remove every state with 5900 from the code and save. This removed the tag for me. I tested it with Chris_Kofe, and it worked. Need more time to test for bugs, but so far I have him fighting at the same time with his parter, without tagging out. I Assume you have to do this with every character to remove the tag system.

I am sorry. The link is not mine either, so I made nothing from it. I have read the rules, but for some reason I did not realise what I had done before you pointed it out.  I will not make the same mistake in the future.  I apologise for my mistake.

I just testet it. The link I posted require you to turn off adblock. As it suffer from the wait 5 seconds before download commercial thing. But thank you anyway for posting a new alternative link.  :)
