hello everybody the 1.1 beta is finally out so head on over to the site 'http://elecbyte.com/mugen' and pick this baby up. Mugen 1.1 is where its at i just tried the public beta and man oh man its awesome it comes with a new and improved opengl renderer and a whole bunch of other niffty features.

Also for those who dont know this version takes advantage of the gpu so frames are way better than 1.0. And if you really want to see the full extent of 1.1 you will definitely need a powerful computer. I was actually tinkering with my gpu settings on my nvidia GTX 660 and push everything to max quality at 1080p and loaded 1.1 and where talkin really beautiful eyecandy. (note it may differ on other pc's depends on your hardware).

the border issue can be easily adressed by calculating the left and the right angle of the stage. other words 1.1 reads everthing accuratly according to the boundleft and the boundright for example if the stages boundright is 250 and the boundleft is -250 by default and you try enable the zoom function your going to get extra borders in the stage and theres your errors.

To fix the zoom error you would have to decrease the boundright to 200 and your boundleft to -200 doing this will get rid of your borders and your stage with zoom enabled will have no and the stage will be fixed. If you still see borders decrease the the values some until you see no borders lets say 150 is your boundright and -150 is yourboundleft. Remember both values must match.

alpha 4 works flawless guys and 1.0 in my opinion is dead those who chooses 1.0 are missing out bigtime there are loads of customizations in 1.1. In 1.0 you are limited to software mode. where in 1.1 you utilize your gpu as well as the cpu.

no honestly stick to 1.1 installation is simple mugen 1.1 is compatible with any 1.0 screenpack all you need to do delete the old mugen cfg and replace it with the 1.1 mugen cfg. In mugen 1.1 you cant mix 1.0 and 1.1 engine files together or else you will get errors. All the engine files must be 1.1 exclusive.

great character  and i love your work are you planing on doing the fourth hokage "minato" plz say you are.

that character is now 11 years old it came out in dos-mugen. at one time i had him until a storm came and fried my computer the hardrive that he was on was fried. that shredder was one of the better characters in the dos time and really balanced also. He had all of wolverines specials including customs as well including his berserker barrage. He was posted on mugenation when that site was booming but know its pretty much dead know. and the creators site was taken down as well sorry.
