Quite unfinished, yes, but he's still functional.

He's 4-buttoned technically, but in reality all 6 buttons are used (X, Y, Z are punches, A, B, C are all parry buttons.)
He's a charge character but not in the way most fighting games follow that formula (if you hold down for a certain amount of time, you get access to more powerful moves).

    He can also wavedash.

He's missing two (or technically three if you count his missing charged anti-air) specials and one other super.
I've released him for now over the fact that I felt that he was still in a good-enough state to be out, along with one of his moves being exceptionally hard to code. I'd say he's around 70% done.

    Download him here.

It'd also be worth noting, I've moved from my "mugen_70" alias down to "matoh" instead.

matoh got a reaction from CoolAnimeHustler in Orcane [Rivals of Aether]
I asked for a character to make out of boredom because I was running low on stuff to do, and one of my friends said Orcane.
And right now, I'm having a lot of fun making him.

So far, he has two specials, a throw (that isn't fully sprited yet, look below), and has his parry. He's 6-buttoned but plays like a 3/4-buttoned character, as X,Y, and Z are all reserved for his parry, and A, B, C are used for offensive attacks.

    HE'S FINALLY HERE!!

Ranno, The Poisonous Pacifist from Rivals of Aether has now officially made his way into MUGEN! To be honest, I was kinda expecting people to make the RoA cast sooner thanks to their popular Steam Workshop content, with it being considered as "MUGEN except Smash-style". Nonetheless, I am proud of the work I put into my first stand-alone character and I hope you are too.

Back with another Rivals of Aether stage! It's... sort of animated? I mean the smoke moves like in the source game. Otherwise, no.

OH! I almost forgot! My friend, Joey, gave me feedback on this stage when I had sent it to him for testing. Thanks Joey!

Hello, everyone! Here is my first stage, made using ripped assets from the source game, Rivals of Aether! It has the music and animations from the source game. Some details, like some of the fire is excluded because I got too lazy, and it wouldn't be much of a difference since they're mostly unnoticeable in the original game anyway.
