  1. no. your just making a sound file.. the work is practically half done for you anyways, your just replacing voices.
  2. if your peeking in chat, then honestly. you shouldn't be in there. you log in, check whats going on, then log out. same as peeking. every time i enter i ask whats going on , and people normally telling me what there chatting about. if your doing something else then do it.

  4. why would you sit around in a chatroom and not do anything for 30 minutes? NOTHING for 30 MINUTES. thats a long time. Obviously if your not gonna participate in the conversation, You probably shouldn't be there. so (not like we need to) it frees up 1 spot so someone else can get it.

So..... your editing a character from the year 2000. some of the codes back then didnt work then and will not work now. you need to open her up in fighter factory, and the red X at the bottom of the program to give you a list of her errors. she has alot of errors. some are easy, some are not.

  17. ok... this is simple. This is a example of your explod your gonna need. I don't think you need a helper for this but maybe you do. your explod code your gonna need. [state 0, Explod] type = Explod trigger1 = time># && time<# ; Replace number with the start and end time for explods spawning. for now use 0 and 100. anim = # ; Replace with particle animation. ID = # ; Replace with a number to your liking. pos = 0,0 ; Leave this to 0,0, this way its start position is the players feet. postype = p1 ;bindtime = 1 ; I've noticed if you put Bindtime = 0, it gives errors, but if you comment it out, It is ignored which is what you want. vel = -3+random%6,-3 ; Moves explod upward, and then randomly between -3 and + 3 velocity for left or right (nope i don't mean 6) accel = 0,.44 ; you can use accel, to apply a sense of gravity, as if it moves upwards then falls down. or change value to do what you want. random = 200,0 ; This will randomly generate the explods anyways from -200, and +200 from the players axis (player is 0, so -200 px left, and +200 px right) removetime = -2 ; This will remove it when the animation is finished. pausemovetime = 0 ; Pauses for pause codes. supermovetime = 0 ; Pauses for super pause. scale = 1,1 sprpriority = 0 ; You can make this do randomly, so its 1 value, in front is + numbers, below is - numbers. ownpal = 1 ; Give it, its own pal otherwise if p1 gets burned or turns red, all explods turn red. removeongethit = 0 ; Its like an "area" effect so we don't want it to suddenly disappear if get hit, this will make it just stop and the rest that are already out will continue. Thats all you need for a basic explod to work in this fashion. If you need help contact me on skype.
  18. is that my shelly? or are you making her? in anycase. in the characters palette on the SFF. it has to be Group 1, Index 1 , For Pal 1 Group 1, Index 2 , For Pal 2 Group 1, Index 3 , For Pal 3 Group 1, Index 4 , For Pal 4 Group 1, Index 5 , For Pal 5 Group 1, Index 1 , For Pal 6 for the pals. if you do not have group 1, index 1, it usually gives that error.
  19. I know that. You have your ideas, but You gotta understand the difficulty in these codings. Its not for someone of your level, Infact Its not for someone at my level. there are so many issues and work arounds you gotta work with. It would mentally KILL you. and Honestly, most people do not know it. as far as i can tell 1 person knows it, (he quit mugen) and he made a program to convert your characters for certain stages he made. but thats it. but this was all years ago.

Honestly I prefer Quality. like for instance Cybaster for YEARS he didnt release character, say only 2 characters (before the DBZ ones) and they were extremely well made, balanced, nice coding, effects, everything. His knowledge is also amazing. He's only made 2 characters, that are quality, he deserves a rank. where as some people release crap loads of characters and they suck. they don't really deserve anything.
