Mugen MVC3/AI testing

Trying out some stuff for testing like emulating the mvc 3 combo system (not very good really) and testing out some 1.0 AI please leave a comment if you could.

Note: The ken character I used is a test character for combo testing, he isn't a character I'm working on just so you know.
Note: 2 the dark green turtle is the one with the AI I put into him.

What? you still use Winmugen? i switched to 1.0 last year and it's waaay better, doesn't crash like WM does, still, i keep my old mugens.

I keep Winmugen because of add004. But I mostly use 1.0.

Not to be rude here but I would like this topic to steer back to what it's supposed to be about the testing I was doing in the video I was wondering you fellas thought of it.

ken video not impressive, cause i seen so much ken shit for years.

however that ninja turtle segment.
freaking BOSS.

Excellent work on those guys, and the AI you did seems really good to!

I'm not surprised you didn't like the Ken segment I wasn't intending to release a Ken character so no biggie anyway. Actually I was trying to see if I could make a feasable MVC 3 styled template so that there would be a useable template as for the AI testing with Leonardo I'm glad you liked the testing, however I think he needs to be able to block more attacks and after he launches someone up I think he needs to pursue them more often so I think his AI needs a tad more work. Sadly no matter how good the AI is for the turtles there are some characters they will lose to mainly grapplers ho boy Hugo and Geif just murder them poor turtles. :omg:

You can't test a "MVC3" system without having assists in some way since it was built around that idea. Just chaining attacks is not "MVC3" its just chaining. Given the circumstances doing this sort of test it would be best to compare to Ryu's MVC3 hit velocities.

As for A.I. he really wasn't doing much, just looked like he throws out the one attack when close and does the same 3-hit. I've specified ways to get you on thinking of all sorts of triggers.

Funny you say that I did play around with Ryu from the real game for awhile before I made that sloppy character for the video the problem is you just can't make assists like come out like in MVC 3 and I found another problem in MVC 3 when do a move that trips and then combo into a laucher type move on someone the fall property is cancelled and p2 can air recover automatically in Mugen p2 is still in a fall state after being hit with the launcher this combined with how impractical it would be to make a MVC 3 system in general so I decided to remake this as general use template rather then a game specfic one.

Another Preview of the template (no longer MVC 3 based more of a whatever it will end up kind of thing) I'm making feel free to comment on this I'm also improving the AI on Leo in the meantime as well.

Thanks Ryon I'm trying to make a template that would be a nice alternative to KFM (though he one could say he really isn't a template) and I hope I'm going about it the right way.
