Updated her again with a lot of fixes. Full update in the spoiler below.

Fixed startup on Lv 3 Chou Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi. Now skips lunge.
Fixed Lv 3 Chou Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi hitvels.
Fixed Morale increase during Lv 3 Chou Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi.
Fixed Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi and Chou Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi's velsets.
Fixed Ryu En Bu and Hisho Ryu En Jin hitvels and pausetimes.
Fixed c Throw's enemy velsets.
Fixed Musasabi no Mai's startup time.
Fixed Musasabi no Mai's landing animation.
Fixed Kacho Sen to air fall the enemy.
Fixed Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi's recovery time (landing animation).
Fixed Kagerou no Mai to be easier to use.
Fixed error wherein cancellables would not work under certain conditions.
Fixed cancellables to be more accurate to CVS2.
Fixed Charge particle's positioning.
Edited Throw sprites to have a more "grabbing" appereance.
Edited select portrait's color's to match CVS2 Mai's color's.
Added sounds to Beni Suzaki and Chou Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi.
Added sounds and jump fx to Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi.
Added more random palettes.
Created new animations for each special and their respective levels (i.e a = Lv 1, b = Lv 2).
EX specials are now added.

Added some more chainables.
Upgraded sounds for walk, jump, run, etc.
Upgraded Jump/Land effects.
Upgraded Counter effect.
Upgraded Lv 2 & Lv 3 Mizutori no Mai and Lv 3 Chou Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi.
Effects for Shiranui Ryuu Kunoichi no Mai now fit in the screen.
Fixed positioning for Super Cancel effects.
Fixed commands for Shiranui Ryuu Kunoichi no Mai.
Fixed guarding hitsparks for certain attacks.
Fixed an error wherein Kagerou no Mai would only hit once despite level used.
Fixed an error wherein Mizutori no Mai's win portait wouldn't display under
certain conditions.
Fixed an error wherein the guardspark would spawn repeatedly under certain
coditions.
Fixed an error wherein the victory quotes wouldn't display the proper quotes
under certain conditions.


Known issues:
Enemy can recover despite having their recover disabled.

Works on 1.0 and 1.1 only. In order to use her, change her folder name to the version of Mugen you want to play her on. Mai_1.0 for Mugen 1.0 and Mai_1.1 for Mugen 1.1.

this char was so underrated before, hype for the update. you're making me dust off mugen ;-;

LOL yeah. Mugenguild made me aware of this, too. I fixed it. I don't know why the hell it uploaded to private. >_>

And thanks. It got like 3.3k downloads according to Mediafire, but not many comments if any. I don't even remember.

Liking the update. She does feel a bit different which threw me off for a minute, but its not bad at all.

 

Feedback:

-Dunno how I feel about being able to charge the Morale meter

-Not really sure what the best course of action would be but it's hard for that 3rd fan throw to hit P2 depending on clsn size. It doesn't hit KFM.

-Why does this move need an Afterimage? Why do all 3 inputs of it lead to the same version of the move? (I would think there'd be differences in light med or high kick commands of it)

-Mid.Pos seems fine but Head.pos seems off? Is it based off of gethits?

-Is the flag simply a juggle flag? I see it pop up quickly when p2 blocks stuff.

 

I have minor preference differences but these were the only things i felt worth mentioning. Nice char otherwise.

She's been released for years now and this is the first legit feedback I've gotten since. THANK YOU!

I'll update her later today. Might add more stuff and I'm also finding more errors of my own.

 

-Didn't like it myself. Just a test I never improved on. Removed.

-Fixed.

-All effects are now in front, but it's hard to tell with the transparency. It doesn't look any different xD

-Fixed. All her forward+b attacks are now just that. forward+b. Left the afterimages though as there needs to be some sort of difference from the crouching b kick and the slide kick since they use the same animation regardless of accuracy to CvS2. IMO.

-Fixed.

-I just quickly coded an explod to spawn whenever you're juggle flagged. So when you know you can't do shit anymore. I thought it was kinda cute. No like? Also, the flag doesn't pop up for me when the opponent blocks stuff. I tested it on Stupa dude.

Also, are you using 1.0 or 1.1? Why is the morale bar so high up? Personal edit?

Mai updated. Fixed everything mentioned on MFG and from here including a ton more! Check first post.
Except for this recovering issue. If anyone can tell me why it is the enemy can recover after an attack despite having recover disabled I'd really appreciate it because, I've tried all I could myself. I can't stop them from recovering for whatever reason.

Forgot to post this here. Updated Mai again with a lot more fixes, EX attacks added and all levels of Specials upgraded. Full update in the spoiler of the first post. Enjoy!
