Low and/or limited accessibility has never played a role in any aspect of competitive battling, nor will it ever. You're also acting as if GTS, Wifi trading, and Poke Transporter don't exist anymore, which is false. ORAS's move tutors have changed nothing in OU aside from making Greninja broken and actually making some lower tier gen 6 mons like Chesnaught and Pangoro more viable in the upper tiers.

Hmm.. good point.

then again I never was a trap-setter type trainer. so I guess its time for me to start training on that. :-P

 wow! i'm currently raising a Sableye. Indeed its mega-form is bulky as hell especially having the move 'Recovery'  so far its move set is this:

Shadow Ball

Foul Play

Toxic

Recovery

Sort of a combination of stall an offensive measures. :-P

Mega Sableye also runs an effective mono-attacking Calm Mind set with Shadow Ball, Will-o-Wisp, and Recover, and its pretty much the centerpiece for Stall/Defensive teams. Just to give you an example of how influential it is, over half of the traditional Stallbreakers from XY OU, such as Terrakion, Talonflame, and Mew, fail to do anything to Mega Sableye because of Magic Bounce granting it a Taunt immunity, that OU teams pretty much need to always carry an answer to Mega Sableye if they have any hope of beating Stall teams. Unaware Clefable and Mega Gardevoir are two examples of these.

Also Choice Specs Sylveon, which has been on the rise lately.

Also Choice Specs Sylveon, which has been on the rise lately.

Indeed, considering now that Mega Lopunny  and Mega-Gallade are considered threats when it comes to out-speeding Many pokemon, Sylveon  definitely needs Choice Specs+Moon Blast, or (Hypervoice [with Pixalate ability] ) to deal with them including Greninja(protean) with 'Gunk-Shot'.

Ubers Update

Rises
493-dark.png(Dark): A -> A+
Works as a fantastic stallbreaker, status absorber, and check to Latios and Latias, who have been on the rise due to ORAS giving them access to Soul Dew again, and is relatively easy to splash onto teams.

385.png: C+ -> B-
Although Jirachi pretty much requires a moveslot for U-Turn in order to thrive in Ubers, Jirachi provides decent utility, being able to check Mega Salamence with Thunder Wave, and U-turn in conjunction with Wish allows it to serve as a decent Wishpasser.

Drops

472.png: A- -> B+

Primal Groudon and Mega Salamence give Gliscor a hard time. Primal Groudon can simply 2HKO with Lava Plume if it manages to score a burn, while Mega Salamence carrying Refresh or Substitute doesn't care about status.

576.png: B -> C

There isn't anything that Gothitelle can trap effectively anymore. Latios and Latias are much more effectively handled by Pursuit than by Gothitelle, and the increased usage of both Arceus-Dark and Arceus-Ghost gives it too many problems.

448-m.png: B -> C+

Mega Lucario's primary niche in XY Ubers was its ability to function on Sticky Web teams. With Latios and Latias gaining access to Soul Dew in ORAS and becoming the primary Defog users in the tier, Sticky Web is now unviable, thus taking away Mega Luke's niche. Primal Groudon gives it headaches, and it also suffers from severe competition from Mega Salamence. The rise in Arceus-Ghost's viability doesn't make matters for Mega Luke any better.

644.png: B+ -> B
With Primal Groudon + Xerneas being everywhere, Zekrom is now much easier to pivot around and overall, it is much harder to fit Zekrom onto teams.

Potential Changes

Darkrai is starting to be more used in doubles battes I see considering its signature move 'dark void' can hit both pokemon and put them to sleep add on its Nightmare ability. to cut HP alittle in each turn on opposing pokemon. Though unfortunitly its still has trouble with Mega Lopunny since she can out-speed Darkrai and OHKO it with 'High-jump kick'. :-P

Removals

Removed from B: 642.png

Removed from C: 213.png

Explanations:

493-water.png(Water): Pretty solid and isn't completely impeded by Primal Groudon.

p4uPcqX.png: High opportunity cost and has difficulty choosing its moveset.

547.png: Got worse in the ORAS transition

257.png: Primal Groudon + Mega Salamence + Latios + Latias

257-m.png: Primal Groudon + Mega Salamence + Latios + Latias

493-electric.png(Electric): Primal Groudon

493-poison.png(Poison): Primal Groudon

385.png: Isn't completely stopped by Primal Groudon due to U-turn and is a nice check to Xerneas, Latios, and Latias

643.png: Lack of Fairy resist hurts it, weak to all hazards, outclassed as a Fire type by Ho-oh and Primal Groudon, outclassed by White Kyurem, and offers no defensive niches.

545.png: Magic Bounce

646-w.png: While definitely better than its old rank at B-, it doesnt stand up to par with the other Pokemon in B+

639.png: Primal Groudon, Choice Scarf set isn't as effective

494.png: Primal Groudon

642.png: Primal Groudon

0vrs5qm.png: Better than regular form, so the separation was necessary.

x568l7X.png: Checks Primal Groudon, Mega Salamence, Arceus-Normal, and Ho-oh

250.png: Checks a large amount of the Ubers meta, puts in alot of work against all playstyles, and is pretty much forcing Primal Groudon to run Stone Edge so as to not get walled by it.

213.png: Mega Salamence + Latios/Latias killed the viability of Sticky Web in Ubers.

UU update

Additions

Added to C: 481.png135.png465.png

Rises

448.png: A- -> A

492.png: A- -> A

205.png: B -> A-

199.png: B+ -> A-

460-m.png: B -> B+

210.png: B -> B+

695.png: B- -> B

Drops

469.png: A -> A-

Removals

None

Reasons:

481.png: Mesprit fulfills some of the roles that Celebi once did before it rose up to OU, but is otherwise mediocre.

135.png: Jolteon has a major speed advantage over other electrics, but held back by its poor coverage options.

465.png: Tangrowth has some niches with Regenerator, but is mostly outclassed by Shaymin, Roserade, and Amoonguss.

448.png: Jirachi left UU, which was a big thorn in Lucario's side.

492.png: No longer outclassed by Serperior as a grass-type wallbreaker, as Serperior is now banned.

205.png: Now that Custap Berry is released in Gen 6, Custap lead Forretress has become a great lead in the UU meta.

199.png: Good check to alot of common threats and fits well on bulky offense teams.

460-m.png: Jirachi left UU.

478.png: Jirachi left UU, but did not go any higher due to Custap Berry Forretress being the premier spikes lead.

210.png: Checks Salamence and completely stops Choice item Heracross.

695.png: No longer outclassed by Raikou due to Raikou leaving UU, hits a wide range of UU's threats.

469.png: Needs a bit more support to function in UU now that Salamence is around, and is about on par with Mega Sharpedo, who's also A-.
