SSFIV El Fuerte have not been converted to MUGEN yet so I decide to do him!

USFIV is just out so I am going to mugenize Decapre!

Man, finally some update..........
 
Since there are no 2D version SSFIV Abel and Oni sprites out yet, I continue to use my half-ass ripping skill to rip "sprites" from SSFIV.

At least I am trying to make a Custom SSFIV Abel and a Custom SSFIV Oni as much playable as possible in MUGEN 1.0.
By the way, "Custom" means "Inaccurate"

Warning:

- There is no such thing as "source accuracy" in all my MUGEN characters, because I don't have the skill.
- There is only one default palette for all my MUGEN characters, because I am color-blind and don't know how to do palettes.
- There is no other purpose in all my MUGEN characters than filling some MUGEN database empty slots, for the sake of MUGEN hard-core collectors who accept both good-quality and inaccurate/half-assed/plain/boring MUGEN characters which have not yet been converted to MUGEN or that have fewer MUGEN verions.

I do hope you remove the "boring" part from these characters' names when you release them - self depreciation isn't always funny.

 

Seriously, whatever happened to moving on? Forget what happened in the past, you've realised your mistakes and we understand that. I guarantee everyone here will judge these characters for what they are and not based on your previous efforts; if anyone does happen to judge you based on your older works, then I'll sick the Krogoth on them ;)

Can't wait for these, especially Oni. I don't like that you keep putting boring in their names, though. Your creations are not boring. Be confident :) that is the best way to success. I like you're back into making characters, I've always liked your creations.

Perhaps, when one day if I can make a MUGEN character that makes everybody wow, then I might change the labeling thing. More precisely, I haven't touched MUGEN a bit since my rage-quit in late 2011, until recently 2-3 months I slowly pick up MUGEN authoring stuff.  So, there shall not be any improvement and even a downgrade is to be expected......

I'm interested considering you're working on Abel, he's one of my favorites from the series. I really hope you can find a better attitude though. You should probably even take some time to adjust things in your personal life before putting effort into a hobby on the internet. When your attitude is shown through a message board that tremendously it's a signal for break time. Hopefully you can work everything out! Not everyone dislikes your contributions, don't make it seem that way or they will begin to!

Case #1:

Werewood mugenized and released SF4 Omni.
MUGEN dude A: "What the hell is that!?"

MUGEN dude B: "OMG, can I un-see it?"

MUGEN dude C: "Well, at least it is something new."

MUGEN dude A: "New and retarded at the same time!"

MUGEN dude B: "OMG, can I un-see it x 2?"

MUGEN dude D: "I like this stuff."
MUGEN dudes A & B:  "Shut up dude D!  We don't hate Werewood's MUGEN stuff that much until now!"
Werewood: "What do you think about my MUGEN ideas?"
MUGEN dudes A & B:  "One word only:  ridiculous."
MUGEN dudes C & D: "dudes A & B have quite a few reputations......let's follow their preference -- Werewood, your SF4 Omni sucks."

Case #2:
MUGEN dude A: "Hey, Werewood mugenized and released a Bai-Hu from Breakers Revenge!"
MUGEN dude B: "Cool.  Let me try it now."
MUGEN dude C: "I tried it but it plays nothing like my Bai-Hu damn it!"
MUGEN dude B: "But it is the first mugenized Bai-Hu!  Just give him some time to fix....."

Werewood:  "Well, honestly speaking, I don't quite know about Bai-Hu I just want to mugenize him because he has not been mugenized yet and I can't wait any longer.  If you can report any bugs then I am willing to fix as best as I can."
MUGEN dude C: "Stop your blind praise you idiots!  What a half-assed MUGEN conversion!  Man, Werewood you just ruined my Bai-Hu and you should go to hell!  Your MUGEN works and styles suck a bigfoot's toe! I'd rather wait for a proper MUGEN conversion than this POS from your half butt !  Did you ever play Breakers Revenge???  What a shitty me-first wanna be that you are Errrrr...xzy%^&*@...Just don't give me any excuses you dumbass!"
** Werewood failed to fore-warn MUGEN dudes of his inadequate MUGEN authoring skill and peculier style in the first place.  If he did, then MUGEN dudes might not put their hope in him too high and they might think twice before actually trying Werewood's MUGEN works. This was Werewood's biggest mistake from the very beginning. **

More and more MUGEN dudes joined in the "Hey Werewood, stop now!" campaign. 
Werewood then went crazy against all those MUGEN dudes and soon was banned by forum mods and later rage-quitted MUGEN.
If you guys were Werewood, what would you do? 

I return and use this kind of labeling all because I don't want to repeat my bad MUGEN history.

And, again, please call me Borewood as Werewood is not my MUGEN handle anymore thank you!

And, frankly speaking, if Orbinaut (now Mr. I?) and I mugenized and released a SSFIV Abel and a SSFIV Oni at the same time, whose versions shall you try first and keep in your MUGEN roaster?  (Sorry to involve Orbinaut (now Mr. I?) here nonetheless undoubtedly so far he is proved to be the best SSFIV mugenizer)
I will definitely choose Orbinaut (now Mr. I?)'s without thinking because I know his MUGEN authoring skill is way better than mine.

I don't want to talk about my bad MUGEN history too!  But I need some examples to show the reasoning behind my "Boring XXX" labeling idea. Now I don't care about those bashing because now I concentrate on "Sharing is Caring".  Sorry again that I used Orbinaut (now Mr. I?) in my explanation.  He was one of the only awesome MUGEN authors who were willing to help improve my old MUGEN stuff.

 

@Kanbeikuroda: You Toon Link has some style!  You mention he is only 0.1% progressed so it is kind of too early to compare it with any other mugenized Link's. I am sure when your Toon Link reaches 100% progress, he will be 10x2 times better than my old Link. Oh talking about my old Link.......just now I remember how much my "weapon-having-no-blue-Clsn-boxes" setting was being heavily bashed by some "reputational" MUGEN author and that was the main trigger to my rage-quit..........bad memory emerging.....along with those two of Werewood's stories above.... :donwan:

Hey Werewood. Do you know that I continuously use both your Juri and Seth in my "Street Fighter Pure" game? The game is a majestic assembly of every sf character, stage, and music released for mugen thus far (and counting). It even has guest star characters from the other franchises that have collaborated with Capcom in the past where fighting games are concerned such as Arika, SNK Playmore and Marvel to name a few. The thing is that without your Seth I would not have been able to have a final boss character! I love how he plays as an AI and also I enjoy wooping my friends with him. You're Juri is a dream come true for me as she is one of the characters I have been... infatuated with since her release in SSFIV. Now that i can use her (and of course thanks to you!) I felt that Street Fighter Pure was close to complete. So now I see that You are developing Oni and Abel and I won't lie that I am very excited to add them to my roster since I am, of course, a collector and organizer of dream match ups! So don't worry about what was said, what will be said and what's going to be said. What's awesome now is that you are back and going to take a crack whip at mugenizing again and frankly, it's more than the rest of us are even capable of attempting. Quite admirable actually ;) Sorry this is so wordy but I felt like maybe it would help you a bit :).

Its a good thing people like me loves your work and doesn't care about accuracy but its alright to have mistakes its normal. Some people are bashful maybe because they're insecure. I "HOPE" to see these chars comin' if you release them soon. Good day! :bye:

Those "MUGEN dudes" were wrong and unhelpful. Rather than just saying "it sucks", they should've given you useful feedback so you can improve - they were in the wrong, not you.

 

Well, those MUGEN dudes were not totally wrong about me.  I didn't notice most of them hated my MUGEN ideas before I did the releasing.  I should have had opened some "Idea Opinions wanted" topics first and then saw how many people would accept my peculiar MUGEN ideas.  Actually in my head now I have so many MUGEN ideas but I am afraid to repeat my bad MUGEN history, so I may in MFFA MUGEN Discussion forum open some "Idea Opinions wanted" topics first, prior to just mugenizing and releasing recklessly like before.
