  2. Hello everyone!, It's time for another MK character and in this occasion is a complete remake of my very first MK character for Winmugen: KINTARO from MORTAL KOMBAT II & Trilogy. FEATURES: *.-This character is a COMPLETE REMAKE from KINTARO for Winmugen (2009). *.-This character was developed under MUGEN 1.1 engine. *.-Include an instalation file (only COPY the main line in the select.def file). *.-Have all techniques and features from "MK2" & "MKT". *.-Can perform "3 FATALITIES". *.-Press Start and you can check the Moves list. *.-You can choose the SOUND MODE pressing "Start" menu : ARRANGED : some sounds from newest MK games & ORIGINAL : all MK2 sounds. *.-The fatalities can be performed at almost any distance. *.-Compatible with the Char-Bosses of my authorship. (He can climb platforms & take items). *.-Include CONFIG file.   4. Sorry, I thought I had put it. Fixed. FIXED. ;) I had that idea too but I think "The Great Kung Lao" looks different and his techniques are quite different (he haven't the hat); maybe I'll make him independently in a near future.

I bring a new character for your collection from Mortal Kombat, and although isn't in the original game, it takes all the features from the female ninjas; that's right is: Khameleon based on MKII Gameplay. This character appeared for first time in MKTrilogy for the N64 as a secret character, and if you already know her, then isn't not much to explain but here it is a short list of features: *.-This character was developed under MUGEN 1.1 engine. *.-Include an instalation file (only COPY the main line in the select.def file). *.-Have all techniques and features from "MK2 FEMALE NINJAS" (KITANA, MILEENA, JADE) The movelist change it with the game time. (You can't control it) *.-Can perform "2 FATALITIES and 4 RANDOM FINISHERS". *.-Press Start and you can check the Moves list. *.-You can choose the SOUND MODE pressing "Start" menu : ARRANGED : some sounds from newest MK games & ORIGINAL : all MK2 sounds. *.-The fatalities can be performed at almost any distance. *.-Compatible with the Char-Bosses of my authorship. I aready know that you are a loyal follower of my work but I had no idea that my work involved you in the mugen world in first place; is gratifying to know that my work was the inspiration of someone, besides, isn't that the goal of someone who seeks leave a legacy?; that makes me feel like I accomplish something, for real, thank you very much!. And yes, I also think that POTS should have made more DarkStalkers characters; his Morrigan is so far the best out there in my opinion; totally agree with you. NEXT QUESTIONS: -Favorite video games?. -Favorite topics besides videogames?.
  8. Of course! is one of my favorite fighting games of all time. I want to buy an Xbox One only for the new game. (I'm still saving money for that) and I have hope for see "Eyedol" again. (I really like Aganos and Hisako too). And of course, some questions for you: 1.- When and where you start on the Mugen scene? 2.- Which retired mugen creators that you would like to see their return and what kind of characters do you like to see from them? 3.- Regardless of your mugen programming knowledge or graphic design skills, in other words, hypothetically speaking: What kind of complex character would you like to create for mugen?

  10. -Uffff... there's a lot! and are divided into many genres; I couldn't say which one is my top favorite, so, I'll name some titles: Dragon Ball Series, Hokuto No Ken, Ranma 1/2, Saint Seiya, Ore Monogatari!, Working!!, Attack On Titan, Azumanga Daioh!, Oreigaru, Tora Dora, Kagaku No Railgun, Himouto Umaru-chan, Inuyasha, Lucky Star, Suzumiya Haruhi Series, Bakuman, Boku Wa tomodachi, etc, etc, etc. -Of course: Platformers, Beat'em up, RPG (like Shenmue), "Metroidvanias"; as you can see, Iam more a "RETRO-GAMER" like James Rolfe (AVGN). -A "childhood dream", because I was already expecting a "Capcom vs SNK" crossover in the same era of Street Fighter II, Fatal Fury 2, Fighters Histoty, World Heroes, etc. And then, I found the legendary KOf'91 surfing on the web, and eventually I found Mugen, the rest is history. -From MK Universe: Kintaro (he don't have the respect it deserves, he has too much potential to be a real Badass), Smoke/Enenrra, Skarlet, Belokk, Tasia and maybe a New Tarkatan warrior. For guest character: Ellen Louis Ripley (from Alien), a classic version of Freddy Krueger and maybe The Joker.

Well speaking of Fighting games: Super Street Fighter II X (It is impossible for me to finish it with a single credit) and all kind of videogames, I think it would be Castlevania 3 & Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for NES, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse for Wii or , House of the Dead 2 for Dreamcast; of course, only for me.
  12. No, I met that game with the "MelvanaInChains" conversions for Mugen. Looks kind of funny, I would like to try it someday. -In the past some people have asked me that and I always say that actually is a kind of "illusion" because I have already some characters done when I start a new season of releases, like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzUc11tT1Ss .I work with many chars at the same time and are released one by one for receive the feedback from Mugen community with the objective to fix the reported glitches for the new releases in chars with the same code like MK or SSFIIX. -Maybe when I done the original trilogy, because even I mod and fix the templates all the time, plus, I don't want to compete against "myself" if we see it from that angle. -I like a lot that series but I think all the characters were converted, unless that I receive requests for some char in particular; if I take that route, I would also like to continue with Fatal Fury Special and I always wanted to do characters from Kof'94 & Kof'95, Fighters History, Primal Rage, Time Killers, some fighting Bootleg NES games like Master Fighter III, Power Moves / Athlete, Ranma 1/2 for SNES, etc.
  13. -I hope to release the next wave of characters from SSFIIX in December, included Dictator. -I'm not interested in using the "Aggressor" bar, Brutalities or Animalities (that finishers are awful) I prefer an UMK3 gameplay, but I always try to make a gameplay closer to the source, so, I hope. -"Crocomire" is the one I am most proud but "Alchemy-Lab Bosses" has always seemed me the most fun for the amount of details that I included. (that reminds me... someone already discovered the "secret elevator" that I put in Alchemy-Lab & Legion Bosses?) -Yes, and is horrendous!. In that era the franchise has already too much tiredness; seemed very incomplete, when I saw the intro, I didn't know if I should laugh or cry; PSX gallery had much better games in that time as Soul Reaver or even Fighting Force do it better; finally I gave it to a friend as a gift..

YES, this is an exclusive for those involved in this topic (if you question me about this in other place, I'll pretend amnesia ;P I like give surprises): In November will be released a Kotal Kahn figure (and some others) by MezcoToys: http://www.mezcotoyz.com/mortal-kombat-x-series-2-kotal-kahn I'll buy it and digitalize it in the same way that Goro, Kintaro, Sheeva & Motaro were digitized with photographs; for now, I have plans to give it a gamelpay like UMK3 but I don't know, maybe I'll do it in a new gameplay; if I have success in this project, I'll make more. I always have difficult to give release dates because it is complicated take time to set to work in Mugen, in fact, I already should have released Khameleon, Kung Lao and Johnny Cage, but for the daily life issues I can't (I work in their Fatalities in this exact moment). I hope to release Khameleon this week and in the next, Kung Lao & Johnny Cage. I work in parallel in the Male Ninjas, so, when they are finished, i'll release them in pairs (Sub-Zero-Scorpion, Reptile-Smoke, Noob-Ermac, Rain-???).
