Lefeaon released today, as well as Glaceon and Umbreon updated.
Once again, get all my MUGEN stuff here: http://1drv.ms/1FlL1Zq

Also, this marks the end of my first wave of POKéMON for Project Catch'em All.
Will I come back? Of course, but I will now wait first until the system update is finished.
In the meanwhile, I will continue to work on the NES Street Fighter 4 remake with Cliff Li (and his stage), Chun-Fo Moon's stage, the screenpack and Tyson Houbot (and his stage).

Also, here are my planned POKéMON for my next wave:
*Togetic (an old WIP of mine)
    *Ampharos
    *Lucario
    *Rotom
    *???
    *???
    *???
    *???
Yup, 8 POKéMON again, although I still haven't decided on the last 4. Any suggestions?

    Bump!
    There's a new update!
It's not featured in the Read-Me files, though, because it's not really an official update.
However, I uploaded them for two reasons:
*Preview for my upcoming Jigglypuff release
    *Testing out the new host
Thing is: I now have reuploaded all my finished PCEA creations (and Goho Li from NEStreet Fighter 4 Remake) to OneDrive, but I have no idea, how functional that link is.
So yeah, there you go: My new stuff, now hopefully on something more permanent.

    Now comes the obligatory bump.
Jigglypuff is now pretty much 95% done. All attacks are now fully coded and the correct stats are already in place.
Technically, only the sounds are now left. I did remember something of importance, though: Abilities.
So far, all my previously released POKéMON had a special ability of some kind. Jigglypuff might be the first to NOT have one, though. And that's why:
Cute Charm is the first of Jigglypuff's main two abilities. When a POKéMON with Cute Charm gets hit by a physical attack of a POKéMON of the opposite gender, the attacking POKéMON falls in love with the cute charmer. At first, it sounds easy to implement, but there is one big problem: In Project Catch'em All, there ARE no genders to begin with, and to be honest, I already have enough of updating the common1.cns when I tried to implement the Sleep status effect, so Cute Charm is out. Competitive is the second of Jigglypuff's main two abilities. When a stat of a Pokémon with this Ability is lowered by an opponent, its Special Attack is increased by two stages. That also wont work, because Project Catch'em All does not differentiate between Attack and Special Attack, and I'm not even sure if MUGEN allows that. But even if it does, that would require me to not edit the common1.cns, but every single POKéMON that was created for PCEA, so Competitive is out as well. Friend Guard is special in the sense that it's actually Jigglypuff's Hidden Ability. Friend Guard reduces the damage done to allies by 25%...but PCEA doesn't support Simul Mode, so PCEA doesn't have battles where you could possibly have allies. Thus, Friend Guard works the least in PCEA So yeah, unless a workaround is found, I will release Jigglypuff without an Ability. I hope you guys don't mind...

Yeah, no weekly updates. That's why too impossible for me. There only will be updates, whenever there will be updates.
And right now, there are indeed updates, although no new releases or updates yet: I'm currently starting to create the sleep status for my current WIP, and I will first update all my previous Eeveelutions as soon as the sleep status is finished, before I will then finish up my WIP. Oh, and I will release my edits of Honchkrow and then Lapras as well.

You're asking me to, or Trini? Either way, no we cannot do that. I don't make weekly updates to the game because I have a different game and other projects that come first. The project isn't dead and when I'm ready to add more features/characters I will. Trini and TxPot are still actively developing for it, so just give them the time and space they need. Just be patient, please.

Trini, I understand you're side of things here, but don't lock the thread.

I know you've been watching Trini like a hawk, but that's not the right thing to do. Go out, do something, get your mind off of things and then come back. Check weekly, but you don't have to post every time. For creators, it's very much annoying for people to constantly ask for updates from them and when things are going to be released. People have lives they have to live to. You have to understand that mugen is only a hobby for both creators and users alike. We don't get paid for it and we won't be acting like we do. So I ask you kindly to stop pestering Trini or anyone else for that matter and just let it be. When Trini is ready to release his next character he will.

Oh wow, that's what happens if I leave this thread alone for a way too long time.
But I might as well add news: I have stumbled upon unexpected problems with Jigglypuff's Rollout, and me and Alexei are trying to figure out the cause of the problems.

Hello TxPot and welcome to MFFA. It's nice to hear that you are still there at PCEA. :3

Okay, so it's official now. This are the POKéMON I'm currently working on or are definitive future WIPs:
    *Jigglypuff (current WIP)
*Glaceon & Leafeon (comes directly after Jigglypuff)
*Lucario (comes after Glaceon and Leafeon)
*Togetic (very old WIP of mine)
    *Ampharos (comes after Togetic)
*Mawile (possible future WIP, if Daeron will come up with the sprites just like he did with Croagunk)
*Sylveon (future joint project WIP, combining JoshR Eeveelution sprites with the efforts of me and Neweegee and possible other people, first X/Y POKéMON in PCEA)
Right now, Jigglypuff is the biggest priority, but there is one problem: Jigglypuff would require a new status effect to be added for the fullgame, and that is sleep.
And sadly, that would require the common1.cns to be updated as well. However, I first need permission for that before I can update it myself with the new status effect sleep (I would also update my Eeveelutions to have displays for the new status effect as well, while every other sleep-related effect will be already applied to the common animation file).

Hey all. For the past several weeks, I have come up with possibly the end-all template for the project, and the end-all wishlist for potential pokemon to exist in the game, as you can now create more than just your own within it. Keep in mind that while the original variables and placement of sprites are mostly intact, this template changes much of the system you know of, including the lack of compatiability with the original characters.

As this is a beta, I will not deem this complete enough to use as a template, and thus won't do anything to the current system until I get the go-ahead to replace it with this system instead. A help file is included but it's unfinished.

The only problem I have with this is that there is so much to edit that it may overwhelm creators and new players alike, with the biggest problem being the damage formula; Even I am getting a headache from this formula, as it needs a ton of testing to see if I'm doing the right damage. A help guide may be needed to clear some things up.

Bear in mind that not all abilities and moves can be replicated. This shouldn't stop you from devising your own pokemon's tricks, attacks, and strategies! This is the list of all abilities and moves that cannot be replicated without some overhauling or move changes:

    Moves:

    Abilities:

    *CONTROLS*

    1. Select the character as usual. It is recommended to have Debug Keys on and turn P2's A.I on.
    2. When the fight starts, use directional keys and Start button to choose pokemon.
    3. When you have a full ATB, press START to pause. Use directional keys and Start button to choose options. Items does not work for now.
    4. On the Summary screen, press START to select pokemon, then directional keys to browse moves and stats.
    5. To switch pokemon, pause the game, select "Switch" and select the pokemon you want.
    6. To quit early, have a pokemon faint, then select Exit with start, followed by yes with the prompt.
    7. Don't try to quit in training mode, as the battle will never end. Instead, I will create a dedicated Training Tool to test out pokemon on.

    *CHANGES*

    *BUGS*

    1. Pausing the game won't stop all attacks from being carried out. This can be fixed by using the "Pause" state, but this causes Mugen to crash later on.
    2. The damage formula doesn't take into account multiple hits. Therefore, the damage of a multi-hitting attack will be greater than if the attack was condensed to only one hit, despite the damage reductions still being carried out.
    3. Please leave alone the code in the [Data] part of the .cns file. It's there to ensure accurate damage, and the extra life is there to prevent taking excess damage to have a premature KO while in battle.
    4. You can skip the "Select Pokemon" part at the beginning of the battle by pressing any button except START. If that happens, you will start with the pokemon you have selected using START, or the first pokemon if you didn't select a pokemon. This can be fixed with a variable and a lot of code, but this will come later.
    5. The "Item" mode of the Pause Screen doesn't work for now. Don't bother trying to select it.

    *TO DO LIST*

    1. All viable abilities.
    2. Split Trainer animation code to have their own statedef to better code animation transitions.

During the process of me making a template, you may wish to think of potential teams of 3 or less pokemon for each trainer to have. These could be anything, from the original standards of having Bird Keepers use only bird-like pokemon, or an Aroma Lady having nothing but Regenerator and Natural Cure pokemon.

    Nonono, it's not the end.
Alexei will say whenever it will be the end or not.
But yeah, TxPot answered just today, and I now finally have what I need for Jigglypuff.
Will now continue to work on her.

Okay, I started work on Jigglypuff now. But before I could, I did this first:
    https://www.sendspace.com/file/rrgqjh
With this patch for TxPot's Honchkrow, Uproar now can wake up POKéMON with the sleep status, just like in the source game.
It does that in a similar way like how flinching attacks make the opponent flinch.
The Uproar hit helper checks, if the POKéMON, who got hit by the Uproar hit helper, has its var(4) set to 4, which is the index for the sleep status.
If that's the case, then the POKéMON is set to a custom hit state, where var(4) is set to 0 again. I was able to do that without changing the way Uproar hits the enemy, since there is zero hit velocity anyway.
Now there is only one thing left: Finding a way of how Jigglypuff could check, whenever Uproar is in effect without creating new variables, because Rest automatically fails, if Uproar is in effect.

I really hope it will be soon, but before I can continue my work, I need an answer from a certain user first.
After all, said user has got informations regarding a resource I need.

Eon chars? Do you mean more Eeveelutions?
Well, that was my plan from the very beginning: Doing every Eeveelution.
The next Eeveelution, however, will be worked on after I have released another POKéMON that is not an Eeveelution for once.
