    Hello everyone. I think I've gotten enough done to show you guys what I'm doing. I'm attempting to create a Sam Sho game that will add blood and gore effects similar to that of Mortal Kombat. Blood will splat on the floor and the death animations will contain gory effects to replace those black insides that the Sam Sho character roster has sported from the beginning. I also aim to add a parry move to each character and I will also balance all of the characters out so that they use the same amount of buttons and same gameplay style. I'm going for a very simple Sam Sho 2 gameplay system just to keep it easy on myself who has no real good experience with programming Mugen. Not yet anyways but if I get better and I get these first features that I've spoke of accomplished then I may further enhance these characters. Each character will have at least 3 super moves. One will be a level 1 super move, 1 will be a level 2 super move, and 1 will be a level 3 super move. The level 1 move will take off at least 25% of the enemies health. The level 2 move will take away 50% and the level 3 move will take away at least 75%. Some of the characters like the bosses may have more then 3 super moves and more then 3 levels of a super bar so expect instant death with some of their moves.
     
    I'm gathering up every character from Sam Sho 1-4. So you can expect all of the greats. Never cared for Sam Sho 5-6 so don't ask about those wannabes. All of the characters and bosses including Kuroko will be playable and there will be a good ending for the good guys and a bad ending for the bad guys. Remember I'm trying to keep this simple at first just so I can actually get something out there for you guys to play. So I'm just making 2 endings for now. I'm also adopting Kongou from the Capcom game Red Earth aka Warzard to stand in as the very first Ambrosia to appear in a Sam Sho game. He really fits in and I'm making sure to make him tough and satisfying when he's defeated.
     
    Stages will be taken from Sam Sho 5 and a couple from Sam Sho 2 and 3 since I couldn't find any newer versions that fit certain characters. I will try to add something to every stage to make them stand out a little more if I can. They will be fully compatible with Mugen 1.1's zoom feature.
     
    There will be a Mugen 1.0 and a Mugen 1.1 version of this game. Mainly due to the stages. But the way to play is Mugen 1.1. It's awesome so far.
    None of the characters or the stages or even the screen pack were made by me. I take no credit for creating them from scratch. I merely edited them to my liking and that is all. All creators will be emailed and or PM'ed and they will all be recognized in the readme file of this game for their outstanding work. They have saved me so much time and they are highly skilled at their craft. Sprite ripping is an art form.
