jrm1007 got a reaction from ValgarYK in Supermystery's Sonic 2 Style Sonic - EDIT REDUX (1,14,2023)
I present to you, my edit of Supermystery's Sonic 2 Style Sonic.

It's meant to fix existing issues with spritework, clean up a few errors, fix animations, fix hitboxes
    -Added a few new winposes
    -Changed the portrait.
    -Added Several new Palettes
    -Removed KFM Sprites
-Made it impossible for Sonic to turn into KFM (or in this case invisible) if Space is used to revive him right after he dies
    -Fixed Super Sonic's Transformation Animation
-CD Soundpack (comes with Sonic CD Sound Effects)
    -Monitors are now Fully Animated
-Ring Partner, and Sound Triggers support DarkLordXelrick's Edits

He retains all of the original features, as well as the original name
    Credit for Sprites goes to

Supermystery - The Sonic Sprites that were already there.
SEGA - For Making said Sprites
Sketch, type_a, Nerples, Nightly, Krebbit, and Hans-Cuff - Custom Made Sonic 1 Styled Sprites (Group 181)

    640,480 Localcoord (originally 800,600).
Credit to Eternaga, Seantly, and AVPboy6754 for the Train Floor!

This will not work with WinMUGEN, but it will if you remove localcoord and other stuff, and turn on HiRes = 1
but then the stage basically scrolls very slowly.

You can find the original Stage here:
    https://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/train-nowhere-177828.0.html

Train to Nowhere, I liked the overall style, but the visuals weren't there.
So with a bunch of thinking, I decided to overhaul the visuals, to make it a proper night stage.
While also cleaning up the unused junk that remained from his previous works.

-Removed most of the Anims in the Def file, unused with no sprites attached
-Changed all Anims to Normal, as nothing was really animated, This allowed the city to scroll much better as a result.
-Changed localcoord to 640,480, this means now you have a proper camera, and the stage is a more.. proper size.
-Removed Zoom features, they weren't working properly for this stage at all, this also means 1.0 is supported as well.
-Fixed delta values for various background pieces, they scrolled too fast for how far away they are meant to be
-Replaced the original floor, with a much more fitting one. (Credit to Eternaga, Seantly, and AVPboy6754 for the Train Floor!)
-Added music, Dreams of an Absolution - Silver The Hedgehog's Theme from Sonic 2006. It actually fits this stage very well now that it's night
-Overhauled all the visuals to make a proper night stage
    -Added more city background elements
-fixed tiling error with mountain elements (the closest mountain set, had a cut off.)
-lowered all the mountain background elements, allowing the sky to be more present
-added a bgmstartloop to the music, this means it never fades out then suddenly restarts

SEIZURE WARNING: This Stage Collection emulates CD's Electricity Effects, and Palette Cycling, resulting in Flashing Background Elements,
DO NOT DOWNLOAD, OR USE THESE STAGES, IF PRONE TO SEIZURES.

So. Sonic CD, I find it to be a rather fun game, sure it's no Sonic 2, or 3 & Knuckles, but it's still pretty fun to play.
I see Wacky Workbench never gets any sort of attention here (for probably very obvious reasons) and I decided to give making the Stages a go. Sprites ripped by Divine Insect, PicsAndPixels, Paraemon, TheStoneBanana, and Modern (more will be added as further stages are made)

They contain fully animated Decorations, from the Turntable Platforms, Conveyor Belt, rushing water, Work Lights, to the Platform Lighting, to the Flashing Backgrounds from the Electricity (read the top of this post.)

Both the US, and JPN Tracks have been included for their respective Time Periods (except Past.)
    Along with Loop Points.

All Tracks are located in the CDTracks Folder, place the CDTracks Folder in the sound folder.

Super Jump is supported across all Stages.

the First Stage of the Project is Wacky Workbench. Containing fully animated BG Elements for the Platforms, Worklights, and such.

SEIZURE WARNING: Flashing Background, and Stage Props (read above). Please be cautious.

jrm1007 reacted to Sergio P in 4Kids voice patch for Meta Knight
I'm back yet again just to release a thingy I made back in december

    for the following character:
    Meta Knight by OHMSBY

Imagine If Eric Stuart (English voice actor of Meta Knight for Kirby Right Back at Ya) voiced Meta Knight in the Smash Bros games, how would it feel like? Like this, close enough I guess.

You saw the title of this thread and you're probably noticed immediately, it's Meta Knight with his 4Kids voice.

Although some people hate 4Kids because of their idiotic censorships, dubbed animes (One Piece for example), and some other things like 4Kids going bankrupt and had to change their names...

...but who the hell hates the dubbed version of Hoshi no Kirby? I mean, Dedede & Escargoon, and Meta Knight (along with a few others, like Kawasaki, I guess) are the only ones that carried the entire show but I'd say it's really fun to watch it even in 2023.

Now, why did I made family friendly Meta Knight into reality in MUGEN?
Isn't it obvious? Nobody made this so I had to step in, and also because I love his spanish accent voice.

You may notice something in the above screenshot? Is it Kirby himself? Wrong!
I made an alternative palette that references his appearence from the anime and that's pretty much it!

    Download him:

I really hope you enjoy it!

he does have his spanish guitar riff from the anime that only plays on his intro (expect the special ones), exceed accel, and astral finish so is that good enough?

You can find the original Stage here:

Madness in Mountains, I liked the overall style, but the visuals weren't there.
I ended up swapping out the original floor, and replacing it with the one used in "Mystery of L" which was also made by Dj Luke. and cleaned up the unused junk that remained from his previous works.

-Removed most of the Anims in the Def file, unused with no sprites attached
-Changed localcoord to 640,480, It originally used X, and Y scaling, which was inefficient.
-Replaced the original floor, with a better one from his "Mystery of L" stage.
-Added music, ParagonX9's Chaoz Fantasy, it uses bgmloopstart to never end.
-Cropped all the sprites, this reduced the filesize of the sff.
-Zoom in was changed to 1, meaning it now will zoom out, rather than .5 being the permanent camera distance.

Hello all! It's been a while since I made a fully original (for the most part) new stage, and this one was a bit of a pain due to my own mistakes.

So, Moon Beach from Streets of Rage 2, I haven't seen anyone try to make this
So I decided to give it a shot myself!

Sprites ripped by.. nobody, I screenshotted the level, with Layers disabled, allowing for easier, cleaner ripping.

All Layers were screenshotted individually, then compiled in MUGEN itself.
the Water is fully animated, as well as the Beach waves.

the Water is also split into different layers, these layers have gradually lower delta values, so the water scrolls much like how it did in the actual game.

the Music is the Moon Beach theme, wav dumped from the game, and then converted to .OGG with the help of Audacity.
Properly loops, having a bgmloopstart trigger.

    640,480 Localcoord.

Burnin' Rubber series made by Xform
    Music done by FungiFM

If you read that Topic Title and have no idea what this game is, I do not blame you.
Burnin' Rubber has sort of became niche after Flash's death, but the Standalone Versions exist now, keeping the series somewhat alive.

This is the Barrage Dam stage, based right off one of the Game's tracks, it's more or less a test stage, to see how I can do with windowed, tiled objects, which are also moving.
It has no stage movement as a result.

the 176 x 208 Scale, has Sonic around the same size as SMB1 to World Mario.

Only thing Laharl offered was cleaner sound rips, that's all. Even the most experienced authors don't mind help every now and then.

I have yet to see any reason to give respect here. The fact that he's saying that offering help is just a ploy to steal half credit already says plenty to me.

    And his character IS mediocre.
