    Finally, slowly completing all my dreamed of characters in Mugen.
     
    Custom version. Will look weird in bigger stages.  Differences from original:
    1. No platforms to jump on to better avoid his full-screen unblockable ultimate.
    2. The green projectiles in the original, do not cause enemy to get hit but still do damage. I tried experimenting with ground.type = none and some targetlifeadds but the result wasn't fantastic, so nope, unless someone advises better.
    3. The helpers and green projectiles move differently, according to my own custom manner (but still somewhat similar to the original).
    4. As a result of the above, nerfed some damages of certain moves except the ultimate. As shown in the video, he CAN BE BEATEN!
     
    Note: the green projectiles can be destroyed by attacking them!
    Note2: you may wish to check out how to place the lifebars in front of characters. An easy edit of the fight.def file in data folder.

    PS: there is an error with the .sff file if used in Mugen 1.0.  No idea why (might be something to do with fighter factory studio).. sorry.

    This boss is very well made in the original game, lots of sprites; couldn't rip all of them hence some moves (esp the super moves) have lesser / custom sprites / animations.
    Lacking proper walking forward/back sprites, and some others.
    Lacking proper Tatsunoko hit / guardsparks for Yami.
    Lacking intro / win / lose / taunt animations.
     

    Update 29 Aug 2020
    1. Added and fixed walking sound
    2. Added combos from buttons x / a / b into specials (rockets) and 2 supers to make it accurate to source.
    3. Made the sound effect for Super Saw loop as the move would delay if it hit / was guarded.

    Movelist:
    Specials
    x - Hammer - Must be blocked high. Can hit lying down enemies (custom).
    y - Jump hammer - First hit must be blocked high; the entire base of its body can hit enemies (custom). Second hit when it lands on the ground is an earthquake that hits the entire ground (wont hit air enemies but can custom hit lying down enemies), no need to block low.
    a / b - Saw - Must be blocked low.  It can hit enemies even after the saw frame (when turning).
    D,DF,F, x/y - Air Rocket - shoots 4 rockets that descend from the air and track enemies (not exactly like original move as too hard to replicate).
    D,DF,F, a/b - Bottom Rocket - shoots 2 rockets that move forward and track enemies (not exactly like original move as too hard to replicate).

    Supers
    D,DF,F, z - Energy Wave - unblockable but low damage and radius. Drains ALL of enemy's power bar.
    D,DB,B, z - Super Saw - spins forward and back at fast speed. No need to block low.

    Nah, he just really likes the site. He uploads multiple MvC related stuff and especially full games there. It's easy to just browse through and uploading full games seems faster.
    I could upload a mediafire link if you want maybe. So long as there isn't some kind of weird size limit.

    An user in Mugenguild found a bug about opponent can block during Idaten Geki moves and other ones. Well, no more. An itty-bitty update has been done, if you suffered with that, then now False Yuka has been updated fixing that stuff ;)

    Yuka Takeuchi is maybe the most powerful fighter in the history of Variable Geo tournaments. That's why Miranda Jahana took part of her DNA and her fighting data to create the perfect clone. Known as False Yuka, this clone possesses all of Yuka's skills, but at the service of Miranda and her evil plans. Now, only left to confront Yuka and take the place of the original one.
     
    For those ones who follow my projects since long time, this project was proposed years ago, and even when I got some of the char advanced, I never got her finished or at least playable at all. Until now. For those ones who don't know about this, well... I made a rest from my ClayFighter chars to rework in an old project of mine that I quicky finished in a week, my apologies for cannot get her ready before June ends, but here it is anyway :P Now about the character:
     

    False Yuka Takeuchi
    A perfect clone of Yuka, the protagonist of Variable Geo series, made for the Turbo CD version of the first game and Saturn's Advanced Variable Geo 1 as the final boss, which uses Yuka's 2P colors (purple hair and pink outfit instead of brown/orange) as her default palette. Since I love Yuka, instead to make my own version of her, I prefered to make this clone that hasn't a conversion of any type for MUGEN until today. In general, she plays similar to Yuka with some minor differences in moves. Here's what you can find on her:
    All her basic moves and 6 buttons (3 punches and 3 kicks) Similar gameplay seen in the other girls I made as Shelly Tarlar and Roxy with Capcom's FX and sounds Used XCB's CS SFF for DivineWolf's Yuka Takeuchi and Nyankiryu's Yuka voice and some sounds A megamix of Yuka moves from the entire V.G. series 2 throws, 3 specials, 3 EX moves and 5 supers 12 palettes, one of them based on Yuka, obviously As most of my creations, made under WinMugen but compatible with M1.0+ (data, winquotes, etc., just choose fyuka-m1.def and that's all!!)

    I hope you like them, she's now part of the Doppelganger Project just as Shelly Tarlar and Roxy, now having enough chars to get their own separate section. Apart of solving bugs, I hope to make special intros and wins against their real counterparts, especially the ones made by DivineWolf (Shelly/Tia, Roxy/Poison and False Yuka/Yuka), maybe next time ;)

    It's OK. Cry not, for there is a simple solution!
     
    Just take people's criticisms into account and improve your works. I'm not kidding, it really is that simple. And even a small step in that direction is all it takes for a BIG difference.
     
    But in all seriousness, almost the entire reason I was driven to suicide once was because I DIDN'T do that. But, of course, I realized my mistake and pushed onward. Just take the above advice, and you won't be ending up like me anytime soon.

    Here's the issue, you're rushing out characters, good characters take a long time to make, if you rush them out, they are gonna be full of errors, every character you released has had the same issues we've been reporting on, it's been repeated over and over, take some time away, practice, and watch tutorials, You just keep rushing characters out.

    Look we don't want you to quit this site but you know that a character takes time to be complete instead of rushing it also they have errors because you don't see the code and remove the leftovers... also  i'm sorry for posting that video...

    Every time i release a new character, i get hate reply, get to many down-votes and giving bug errors. Do i have to quit MFFA or help me train harder?

    Yeah, making Butch claytalities (2nd pic), I got 2 ready of 4 and working in the other 2, as well I achieved to make the Squish Claytality (1st pic) for Jim as well for other characters. Butch will be released very soon, but if I got some luck, maybe Tiny and Earthworm Jim receive an update too, wish me luck

    Have you checked the controller instructions in sctrls file from mugen/docs ?
    probably there's some parameters you're missing.
    PosSet and PosAdd, as far as I can remember, make the character move or be positioned in a specific part of the stage.
     
    KFM is a good char to start, but I suggest you to use and adapt (this means to study it, by looking at the controller from sctrls doc file) the code from  another char that uses more complex stuff, like a SFA or MVC character.
     
    First of all enable debug in mugen.cfg.
    Then go to practice mode with a char that uses hyper bg.
    Press ctrl+D to enable debug messages, make the char do the hyper bg move.
    Check STATENO and that's the state you should look for in the char's cns to see how the creator of the char managed to make it look right.

    JFCT doesn't have a CVS Shingo. If you're talking about the PotS Shingo with Dampir sprites, that one is an edit by Infinite. There's also 2Dee4Ever's version.
    This is the original SNK sprite from KOF 98.

    This is 2Dee4Ever's version with Capcom shading gimmicks on the palette.

    This is Dampir's version based on SNK sprites, redrawn to look like Capcom style however, resizing caused distortion on the sprites.

    This is Kyo's sprite from CVS2.

    And this is my edit. You can see the difference easier this way.

    Perhaps you're referring to Ophar's CVS Shingo? It's really old and it has lot of missing sprites here and there. I didn't use those sprites though.
