    The ferocious tiger is set loose on the competition! After some procrastinating yet again, I finally release my latest Generation 1 character and my very first Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax character reimagined in my own playstyle. Do note that it's not recommended to scale her up since her FX do not autoscale with the character, lacking Generation 2's autoscaling coding. With that said, hope you enjoy thrashing up the rest of your roster with this ferocious feline.

    It's because he still feels rather rushed out the door, due to the existing issues, but keep it up, you are getting better, and that's what I like, here's a little tip, there's a folder in MUGEN called Docs, it has lots of tutorials, I suggest reading those up if you haven't already, keep the work up

    While you did fix a few issues that are pretty much present in every single release, he's still filled with a huge amount of problems.
     
    -Invalid Actions for Super Jump - which floods debug
     
    -Debug Error with each Super
     
    -Debug Flood for Jackpot
     
    -Messy SFF - seriously why are there so many sprites in group 50?!
     
    -One Winstate - this wouldn't be an issue, but you made a completely new .cns file for just this one state, which makes it absolutely pointless.
     
    -Double Play hit clips - If hit in the air by anything, two clips play instead of just one
     
    -Reusing Standing attack sprites for air
     
    -Literally all crouch kicks use the same animation
     
    -Kung Fu Man hitboxes - The King is too big for KFM's Hitboxes, You can draw your own hitboxes, it's not hard
     
    -No Landing sound - the effect for it plays and it doesn't play out good at all due to the lack of sound to accompany it
     
    It's clear he wasn't ready to be put out yet, but you did so anyways.

    Those questions you just asked are fucking hilarious coming from you. It shows how much of a hypocrite you truly are. You want the community to not censor the truth as long as it's your truth, right? People decide to criticize a character and explain why it's terrible, but you have to come in and tell those people they're in the wrong for doing so.
     
    You want the truth? As you are right now, you're a cancer in the community that wants to stick to the old ways. You're a cancer that wants to prevent others from improving by denying criticism because you can't handle it yourself and want to "save" others from it. You don't even realize how harmful this actually is instead choosing to delude yourself into believing you're doing a service to the community.

    These two are based on Nico Himuro from Danganronpa Rebirth and King from Cave Story respectively. They work for Nep Heart's Youmu. I will release more.

    Y'know, that @DS12 guy has a point. You'll be wasting everyone's time from constantly testing the characters just to check for bugs and fixes. I doubt that you'll ironed out ALL the flaws before the so-called 'Final release', because all those glitches tell everyone in the Mugen community that you still never listen to their criticisms and just release them in a rush. Tell me, did you listen to the people who wanted to make your characters better, or did you just ignore them like a plague of locusts? If so, you're not paying attention to what they have to say because I presume you didn't know how to take criticism properly. Therefore, you didn't put enough effort to fix them. Which in turn, gives people the impression of you having no idea how to create even a simple Mugen character in the first place.
     
    HOWEVER, as it is the only version of Ed to be (almost) fully functional, I'll be lenient to you and let it slide down. After all, a flawed character is better than an awful character. Next time, take their responses to your heart and pour it in to your characters. The whole world would do favours to you if you just listen to everyone's words (including mine).

    Feedback time:
     
    ROCKO: 
    - All attacks still can be spammed over and over again (I do recall sending this to you twice now and you still haven't fixed it)
    - Running still plays even if Rocko stops (I also do recall sending this to you and you still haven't fixed it)
    - Spitball recovery frames are too...slow 
    - Spitball proj. hardly does any damage
    - 130 damage from spirited away special, fix pls
    - Pogo stick special needs a bit of damage increase (i.e. change from 30 (also 18 for smashing) ---> 60)
    - I can't perform Bird Chirp special (I also told you this, and again, you never fixed it)
    - Brain Pop can be tricky to perform (however, when I did it once, it hardly does any damage at all)
    - 140 damage on Tornado Kick, fix that as well please.
    - Why does heffer hit the opponents AFTER he lands?
    - Rocko doesn't even jump over Earl, he jumps into the direction he's running in. 
    - Also, why does THIS happen when earl hits the opponent? 

    - Sheila assist needs a damage increase
    - 254 damage is a bit too much for a Lvl 1 hyper (a.k.a the boxing hyper)
    - red hitboxes need widening for the jackhammer hyper as it doesn't particularly hit Kung Fu Man (or other characters with thin hitboxes) multiple times for 8-19 frames. 
    - Jackhammer 2 jackhammering sound won't stop playing even if Rocko finishes the hyper
    - Suck-o-matic hyper does too much damage, even if it's a Lvl 3 hyper
    - Crazy Bus Driver literally takes half of opponent's health. I know it's a Lvl 4 hyper, but that's way too much
    - Also, BG problems during the Crazy Bus Driver sequence:

    - FINISHER doesn't even kill the opponent, and after that, this happens: 

    - What happened to the Earl chasing Rocko winpose? Earl doesn't even appear onscreen, and I thought Spunky was also supposed to run from it as you told me on discord. 
     
    ZIM: 
    - Like Rocko, attacks can be spammed over and over again, and infinitely
    - What's this? No target hit sprite when hit by Zim's bomb? (I think I also told you this on Discord and yet you still haven't fixed it)

    - For a gun proj. THIS big, it shouldn't even do 20 damage. Oh yeah, and proj. layering problems persist too.

    - Same thing with this. I liked it better when the proj. were small.

    - No target hit sprite for the Fire special, and...hardly does damage (didn't I tell you this on discord?)

    - Wrench literally goes through the opponent whenever Zim throws the wrench at a close distance (position's still off, pls fix)

    - Gir's pig proj. only does 10 damage? 
    - After performing the gnome assist, I'm can't perform the gir assist anymore.
    - Robodad walks up to the opponent and instantly runs away without attacking.
    - Hitspark positions are WAY out of place

    - I can't perform the PAK special because the "electric" special overlaps it if you know what I mean...
    - Sound when zim spins his staff around doesn't stop playing, even if after the hyper sequence is finished
    - Pause sequence gone wrong

    which leads to this: 

    - Hitbox size needs fixing, literally: 

    - Zim Portrait for Finisher could be bigger (but not too big please)
     
    DIB:
    - Oh neat! We're off to a good start (but seriously fix this please)

    - Do I have to keep saying this? All attacks can be spammed over and over again. 
    - Also long hitboxes, shorten them please

    - For an Air heavy strong punch, the screen shouldn't shake twice as much when hitting the opponent.
    - Let's compare sizes for the hack special shall we?


    - Pause sequence for Ham special can be annoying, especially if doing it repeatedly.
    - Camera special has no flash sound? (And didn't I say this in discord as well?)
    - Hit by water balloon goes into a passare state for the opponent...which makes absolutely no sense. (I also went through with this several times in discord)

    - Gaz's red hitbox is still present even if she's throwing a pizza at a far distance
    - Ray special hardly does any damage, fix that please.
    - Water Gun hyper barely does any damage and doesn't hit that much at all
    - Also, fix this: 

    - Before Dib calls Membrane, power is reduced to 2000, then when Membrane shows up, power is reduced to 0.
    - Meat hyper gives back power
    - Torque Smackey takes off all your power and only does 126 damage
    - Dib's AI spams teleport extremely often, and it can get really irritating after a while
     
    ED:
    - Yeah...uh...fix please?

    - Yeah, if you'll look at the bottom of the screenshot, you'll see what needs fixing

    - Dust explods out of place


    - Ed's grab doesn't seem to work
    - All attacks except standing strong punch and kick can be spammed over and over again, and of course...infinitely
    - Ed still rambles on after saying this one short quote, "This is jib." (for the Jib special)
    - Ed's sneeze hitbox is practically full screen, tone it down please

    - Squirt Gun still looks and sounds like tasers
    - No frame after being burnt?

    - Nazz kissing should cost some power, since she heals Ed's health and can be spammed 
    - Nazz doesn't hit the opponent when the opponent is too close to the edge of the screen
     
    That's all I have, I hope you'll fix these bugs.

    A new decade come a new year, which comes a new start on a new play style that I have been planning out since late last year on a more grounded base battle system loosely inspired by various SNK games including The King of Fighters in particular. It will be dubbed "Generation 2" and Eri Hasumi will be the first character to be in this style. With that said, the previous gameplay style for prior characters I've been releasing for the last year and a half will be dubbed as "Generation 1," which has not ceased for as I still plan to do more characters in that style, but I wanted to try something new for once.

     The main emphasis on this one will be the Style that can be chosen at the start of a match; Power and Speed. Power Style sacrifices movement speed and combo options for more damage per attack. Speed Style has superior mobility options with more combo and blockstring options, but requires longer combos to catch up with Power Style's damage output. This basically changes the way a character will be played quite a bit in spite of the moveset remaining the same between Styles.
     
     If this takes off and is well-received, I may do more characters in Generation 2 gameplay.

    Off-site releases from around the Mugen community are posted here, on the News board.  
    So if there's a sweet release on another forum or site you know of, this is the place to share it.
    Make sure to follow these rules when posting:
     
     1. Thread title: Always include author name and release date in your thread title.  Widely used format: [Content name] released / updated by [Author name] [Release/update date]
     
     2. Time range of news: Only post recently released / updated works.  Maximum time range since release / update date is 1 month.
     
     3. Visual preview: Always include screenshot(s) / video(s) that will serve as visual of the contents, it'd be nice if you use your own screenshot instead of copy pasting from someone else.
     
     4. Linking to author website: DO NOT direct link to files on their website's server like this.  Some web servers are known to forbid this and direct you to 404 error page.  Important: Refrain yourself from linking to ad referral sites (such as adf.ly) or any sites that force redirection to adfly (such as Mugen Archive), as many of these ad referral sites these sites possess known security vulnerabilities.  Mugen and all its contents are meant to be free, and any attempts to monetize them are prohibited.

    5. No Link Requests: To make a request, go to the Content Requests sub-board in the Member Support forum on the main page, rather than asking on the News forum.
     
     6. No child pornography characters: This includes loli and shota. Not only is it visually disturbing to many, but is also illegal in many jurisdictions across the world. Do not try to create a loophole by using "technically" as an excuse, either. The character's canonical age does not matter: if a character looks like a minor, then it counts as a minor. No exceptions.
     

    WEEKLY NEWS:
    Every week around Sunday (give or take a day) the News Staff posts the Motha Fuckin Fawn, which is MMFA's Weekly News.  The Fawn can be found on it's own sub-board in the News forum and every Issue contains releases from throughout that week.  The releases come from the Release forum, and the Offsite Releases sub-board in the News forum.  The Fawn also includes news articles from the gaming community in general, new games coming out, strategy tips for existing games etc.  And sometimes there will be articles written by either staff or MFFA members.  So if you feel like contributing some of your handy-work in the form of an article about anything Mugen or gaming related that you wish, please be our guest.  If that's you, visit the Content Submissions thread on the Fawns board.

    After recent events, we had to update the news rules to be consistent with our general policy on nsfw characters, specifically on loli/shota characters.
