Here's the link but still uploading the files yet...

Supposedly has a 1.5 GB a month limit or such (which should be plenty) but have to wait and see how this goes...

http://gohanssm.netne.net/mugen.html

My old Empire Earth site is here as well...

http://gohanssm.netne.net/index.html

Just uploading now, but should be uploaded sometime tonight (June 11, 2012) uploaded...

And for more fun (for those that remember), the "rant" page returns...

http://gohanssm.netn...rant/index.html

And sorry, but my favorite where 'Samanosuke of the Saito Clan' posts, "Gohan essay mode" for Sunboy, Ragnarok in the http://gohanssm.netn...ant/herman2.htm post on Dev

Oh, and was I a prick at times back when, I forgot all about this one ZBrock, http://gohanssm.netn...atoadmitsit.htm The last post I made in that was really terrible, but if I remember right (which I may not) it wasn't meant as a "ban them all" post but just as a "I'm not going anywhere and plan on sticking around long after they give up being a bunch of jerks, or I end up getting banned from the forum for getting in flame wars with them before they decide to leave on their own after they can't get their own way..." "...either they're gone or I'm gone..." - GohanSSM2, seems like they left not too long afterwards... Then it seems like the Mugen Tomb forum itself went down not too long afterwards anyway...

Thanks Ry. Seeing how this company (netne or whatever) works yet. I think it has a 1.5 GB monthly limit which should be more than enough for the lack of traffic I get anymore.

I am thinking about updating the layout to be more like my New Math Book site.

Way too many hours at work lately to work on the updates yet. May be soon though. I definitely haven't had the time to work on Goten and I'm thinking after that should be Ginyu from UB22 I hope.

Edit, oops, and could you tell I was getting a bit cranky over at Mugen Lair... balanced my BUTT!!! Being cheap ain't being balanced and I'm very tired of the "watch mode" creations honestly. But to each their own I guess.

Back in 2003/2004, most of the DBZ community was moving from MUGEN to Quake III and the Bid for Power stuff. Was kind of the end of 2D type fighters for most. But some get tired of straining their necks to try and see every which way in 3D, so 2D does have some advantages I guess. Plus you can get a little more detail on a sprite than a 3D model polygon. 3D models are still a bit blockier than sprites yet. I still prefer the 'simpler' stuff I guess...

But yeah, I got tired of all the recent MUGEN stuff doing nearly infinite combos and such in watch mode so I gave in and decided to take out the power up balancing stuff out of my characters in AI mode by giving my characters maximum power in AI mode and taking out the pausetimes between some moves (but I left all the gameplay balancing stuff in the normal def mode for the player vs. player crowd that I've always paid attention to, I can't tell you how many people used to email me asking me to take out the AI stuff in characters so that they could play one on one against another person and have the match based on player abilities instead of which character could octicombo another and such..., plus having to wait six seconds or more for a mini movie to play out before a move can get monotonous as well).

Edit, and yes, I'm thinking about adding a navigation type bar like on my New Math Book site to help navigate the site a bit easier between pages. the problem is that I have so many different pages...

Yup, sometime here will do. I did manage to fix the broken links for now. The old Dotster renamed the html files I had to htm it seems. I renamed them back. Gotta get up early tomorrow and be out all day on a trip to Waterloo NY, but hopefully get a chance to work on the MUGEN site a bit tomorrow. (yeah, I used tables at the top of my New Math Book site http://www.thenewmathbook.com )

Thanks, I use the old Norton Netscape (7.1 I think with Netscape Composer) so that everything is downward compatible. Lotsa poor people here in the USA anymore so it's nice that the old and new browsers still work with the old Netscape Composer. I'm still waiting for the 'new' html to finally support subscripts and superscripts but until then I still use Microsoft Word Docs as pages in spots.

Edit, and oops, I didn't get a chance to update the MUGEN site pages yet. Hopefully sometime this week I'll get a chance but this is a long week for me at work, so probably won't get much of a chance to change over until the end of the week hopefully.

I'm hoping it does but I haven't been able to try it out yet...

Anyway, any better now? I added tables at the top of the pages (about 5 minutes ago)...

Oops, some tables messed up on other pages but also just had a SHITLOAD of luggage dumped on me at work. But the copy/paste didn't come out right on the tables on most of the pages and I'll redo them shortly

Edit 2 - hopefully fixed now but gotta wait til I get back from a major messup at work...
