Tommy: Just when everyday seemed to greet me with a smile... sunspots have faded and now I'm doing time... Uncle Dante Posted August 22, 2017 Share Posted August 22, 2017 Tommy's guitar-playing gave Dante an idea. Even though he wasn't sure if it would end up working, it was all or nothing at this point. He pulls out a purple guitar with a rather bizarre design, and begins playing as a backup for Tommy. He also looks over at Kyosuke, and gestures towards his drums, implying that he should bring them out and join in. (This is one of the dumbest things I've ever done. Intelligent Royal Guard: His Majesty has allowed you to speak with him and Her Majesty, so make sure you do not waste their time; few are given this chance. And with that, both guards approached the gates at the bridge and opened them, allowing them to safely cross the bridge. Nemesis nodded towards the guards and gave them an actually genuine smile. Nemesis: Thank you so much for this. I promise that I shall not squander this time away with useless banter. Lize: (I have to make Seraph open up! I need the details! But how am I going to do that?!) Melina BGM: Palace of the Insane still playing Melina: I will take caution, but if she does something to me, I will kill her. It will not be her fault, unfortunately, but I do not know how to "play nice" whenever I am battling. She waved to them and went inside alone. A person Posted August 22, 2017 Author Share Posted August 22, 2017 At the end of the bridge was another gate leading into the castle, two guards wearing black armor with blue lights in it. Their weapons, this time, appeared to be strange guns with white canisters where the ammunition clip should've been. They approached the gates and pulled them open, allowing the group to enter and revealing four guards standing at the entrance. Their armor was black with white lights, and they seemed to have an assortment of weapons on them. One guard approached them. Concerned Royal Guard: Please follow us; we shall escort you to His Majesty. Without another word, the guards began to walk ahead, Nemesis following closely behind them. It was visible that she was very nervous at this point. She glanced back at the others. Nemesis: ... It was clear that she wanted to say something, but was unable to find the words(or the will) for it. She proceeded to turn around and continue following the guards. Questions swirled in his head and he needed to confirm it. Depending on the answer, it could be a sign that even worse things will happen. Agni: That guard... the way he did things wasn't normal. At least, not the procedure I can see as normal. Mirfah: What... do you mean? Agni: I need to confirm this. Light, Dante... since you both are here for a longer time, I need you to sincerely answer this. Is this usual coming from the guards or this is a once-in-never experience? But, who knows, maybe he's new. Or maybe he's just bad at his job. Really, the dead giveaway would be what he was wearing. I haven't seen armor like that in a while. You used to be able to spot members of the Royal Guard wearing that in the past, but as you've probably noticed, it doesn't match what the other guards in the city are wearing today.
