The common1.cns problem

NasiruddinHamizad

Question

Guys. I'm having a problem with Mugen 1.1 here. Here's the problem below.

Error message: Invalid trigger: camerapos
Error parsing [State 5100, 8]
Error in [Statedef 5100]
Error in data/common1.cns
Error loading chars/Kyo.def
Error loading p1

Library error message: Died parsing pos x + camerapos x, 0

That's the problem. Anyone got any ideas how to fix it?

Sounds like it's using a custom common1.cns instead of the default one. Did you get Kyo from a fullgame by any chance?

No, I used Jmorphman's Kyo.

Try opening the def file and replacing the version date with this:  3/6/2014

Which def file should I open?

Kyo's.

Edit: Downloaded the char and it runs fine in my 1.1  My guess was based on the idea that you'll get that error if the mugen version set in the def file pre-dates certain triggers, such as CameraZoom which is what I was actually thinking of.

On second thought, have you downloaded any tag patches or stages or anything that required you to add code into your common1 file in the past?

I don't remember doing it so, no. Also, this common1.cns in my 1.1 doesn't work on some other chars that doesn't have their own common1.

And, it also runs fine in my 1.1, except for common1.cns. And I've done that. Kyo's def version date is in 3/6/2014.
