Does Mugen 1.1 have system requirements?

mixosh

Question

I Can't help but notice that almost every MUGEN 1.1 that has HD features just doesn't go well with my computer.

I have mugen 1.1 Legacy by NoZ but i can't play it. it always crashes. and I've already asked for help in multiple places but nothing helps.

sometimes it cant load the stage and other times it cant load the character. It usually happens in the VS Screen.

But when i use Duracelleur's Mugen Multiverse Screenpack with an almost comeplete roster it works out fine. maybe because nothing there is HD\HR.

Hmm...

Well all i can say is this about Mugen 1.1:

- Its good but it still a beta considering the engine havn't been updated since the last few or more years.. :-P

- besides having enough RAM and good graphics I recommend using a PC that has a quad-core processors (Intel series i3, i5, i7) (AMD A6 or higher series) so that the data from mugen run better without too much problems.

- You might want to change the graphics setting to OpenGL in Mugen.cfg

- sometimes it may not work well for windows 8/8.1, and10 but it all depends on your computer system.

..those the only thing i can say about it. I have windows 8.1  and I do use mugen 1.1 but not  as often as mugen 1.0(the most stable version)

Using Windows 7... OpenGL was always chosen in the .cfg file...

These Screenpacks are based in MUGEN 1.1 and i dont know if that's possible to change them...

typically there are no requirements for 1.1 other than OpenGL.

you can disable it from the mugen.cfg window, ANOTHER thing you can try is putting mugen 1.1 in safemode.

I'm not sure how it works but I find when I put it in safemode it will always load up completely.

you can turn on safe mode from the mugen.cfg , it's right under the Render Mode option in the config.
