  1. This is less of an edit and more of a hotfix/hitbox nerf. This... good... character had hurt sprites with nothing. Not even a single pixel! So, if you want to grapple this excellent photoshop job, then you can do so now. EDIT: Ah poo. So it turns out the original char had unblockables and nonsensical overheads. His attack was at 140, and his chipdamage was insane. Pretty much everything got axed. So, now I reiterate; It's here. Some screenshots to showcase his """new""" sprites! I guess. The move properties haven't changed; I just edited the sprites. Don't let him get close.

Grapple Swing (D,DF,F,z) (Air-usable): Batman swings away with his grapple. Can cancelled into air-combo if the timing is right. Strike from Above (D,D,x/y/z): Batman grapples away and attacks from above. Hit high. Can cancelled from successful throw. Landing position is decided by buttons. Scattered Bombs (D,DB,B,x/y/z) (Air only): An attack from Injustice 2, Batman scattered bat bombs in front of him. If used during air-combo, cause opponents 60-frame untechable knock down. Dark Knight Combo (D,DB,B,x/y/z): Batman attacks opponents with his martial skills. Can combo 6 times. X/Y version's last hit deals more damage, not safe on block and can be cancelled into Strike from Above if hit. Z version's last hit deals less damage, safe and block and can be cancelled into Batarang. Opponents can act brieftly between the 5th hit and the last hit if he/she isn't in hit state, making this move unsafe on block. Hypers: B,F,B,F,x/y/z - Bat Swarm (LV1): Batman throws a flash bomb while calling his bats to confuse opponents then strikes with a powerful kick. Deal non-scale damage and hit full screen. D,DB,B,D,DB,B,x/y/z - Grappling Hook (LV1): Counter Hyper. Upon hit Batman launches opponents into the sky while grappling away then grab the airborne opponents only to finish them with a Strike from Above. Can be thrown. D,DB,B,D,DB,B,x+y/y+z/x+z - Dark Knight (LV3): Blind opponents with a smoke bomb, Batman performs a series of actions and ends with a Batmobile into their faces. The Batmobile is unblockable but if the bomb is blocked, Batman will not call the Batmobile. F,DF,D,DB,B,F,DF,D,DB,B,x+y/y+z/x+z - Bat Revenge (LV3): Unblockable grab. If hit connects, Batman fills the enemy with his pain and suffer while retelling his origin story and beat the hell out of them without killing them because he is Batman. Has start-up invul.   4. https://streamable.com/4y088 Yep, I'm already at it again with what will be my third character in the works using both Cyclops Beam and Kohaku's Homura for their resources, but otherwise build from the ground up. This time, my next project will be Homura Akemi, another Puella Magi. Her gameplay will focus on being a projectile heavy character who can manipulate time to teleport or create combos that are not normally possible, making her lean greatly on a keepaway and zoning fighting style. She's roughly 40% complete as of this post, but Homura has been turning out to be the easiest character to work on so far. Just like Sayaka and Akyuu before her, Homura will be made in the same custom style as them. Stay tune for more updates on her progress.

The Chronicler of Gensokyo arrives as my second MUGEN creation, Hieda no Akyuu makes her arrival under the same custom gameplay base as Sayaka before her did and use sprites and sounds from neneco's version. She actually took only the fraction of the time it took to create Sayaka in spite of her more complex gimmick she works under, but I suppose all that experience from my prior creation that I can use as a template helped in that regard. While her gameplay takes some inspiration from various fighting games such as Marvel vs Capcom, Melty Blood, Guilty Gear and King of Fighters, she is otherwise completely custom.   9. From the very old days of DosMUGEN, I bring you taruse's original character. This is one of my most favorite MUGEN characters, so much that I edited her years ago to bring her up to WinMUGEN standards. And now I've edited her once again by implementing into her one of my favorite fighting game styles, admittedly a big deviation from her original fighting style.   12. Hello again everyone, hope you're having a good evening. I'm making this post to ask about the coding steps taken for most characters. Since I'm still new to character creation in Mugen I was wondering if someone could give me some helpful tips when coding. And what to do for things such as basic attacks, specials, transformations. movements, etc. I tried testing what I already coded after looking up a tutorial. But I didn't get anywhere it wouldn't even load up, well it is coding it's more of trial and error kind of profession. Another question I have is that, how do people make multiple CNS files for the characters? (I'll provide a link to better explain what I mean.) One more question is regarding the states that I saw that were already in before I actually started coding. Should I get rid of it and start fresh or do I leave it there and add what is necessary for the character? To summarize my questions How would I go about fixing the error? How should I actually start the coding process? How do I get multiple CNS files, such as the one shown in the link? Regarding the already implemented states in the current CNS, should I get rid of them and start from scratch?   13. For M.U.G.E.N v1.1 This is the 6th fan character I've created for M.U.G.E.N. She is a joke character with one-button attacks and wasn't meant to be a sophisticated fighting character. I simply wanted to add her in a M.U.G.E.N format and for AI battles. This character uses the infamous MLG meme as a concept for a joke character (along with other mildly related memes). There wasn't any particular reason why I combined the character and the MLG joke, I just did it on a whim. I didn't think I'd go back to making another joke character so soon though... Comedic mileage will vary, but for those of you who find the MLG meme too obnoxious, I made a version that removes that specific content (she still has the other jokes though).   14. Hello. Here are some characters i made mostly for the sake of seeing something completely different in mugen. So, my first character is a conversion of Freeze mage deck from Hearthstone. I tried my best to replicate gameplay of the deck in a fighting game. You can still shackle your enemies with chains of ice and burn them with fire. Ice Block included. It is Suigintou from Rozen Maiden, using sprites from Nijikaku game. With Manashield and random damage of Lightning spell. Mana pool and power bar were made to serve different purposes, with Mana being used for spells and power bar acting as a timer until the final (possibly game ending) spell can be used.   18. So I'm happy that my buddy Celest helped me out with Naoto, so shout out to Celest. Byt what I need help with now is some of the effects. I do have an idea of what to do, but I wanted to be absolutely sure that it was correct so can someone tell me what to do step by step. I really wanna make Naoto a character worth downloading, he deserves it since BBTCB did him dirty. So to be more specific I'm trying to get rid of the backgrounds for the effects specifically the ones on the bottom. As for the Blood Drive Moves. These are only a few examples of what I mean, but if anything I think I might have to gt rid of the colored background. Which is what I' exactly trying to do, but I want to ask if I should photoshop it out or get rid of the background in FF3? Any type of response for this is helpful.   22. Like the title says, it's Alice from Asura Buster but with MvC3 gameplay. I was inspired by Brergrsart and his creations (and especially his Vargskelethor MUGEN game) and a bit of The_None as well to get back to MUGEN and make this silly little thing and possibly other silly little things in the future. This particular thing I guess is like Ridiculous Necromancer Girl only not as overpowered and actually sticks more to necromancy as she mainly summons only skeletons and skeleton-related things instead of whatever.   24. A 3-button character I made. The A and B-Buttons are used for Specials. The C-Button is a Hyper Button. (It costs 3000 Power to use.) Button Mapping: Walk FWD/ Walk BWD: Bomb Plant - Every step he takes, a bomb is planted to the ground. It explodes after a few seconds. They also randomize in color. A-Button: Bomb Drop - As the name implies its a simple bomb drop. Explodes on contact with the ground B-Button: Rupee Throw - Triple Rupee Throw. They go into 3 separate paths. Due to its Spammy potential, it cost 400 power to use. C-Button: Giant Bomb (Costs 3000 Power): A Giant Bomb drops to the ground and sets off its timer on contact with the ground. Explodes after a few seconds. Now, he can't back dash, run, crouch, or jump to save his life, but his other available traits can!
