Umbra's wheel only causes destruction of a few walls and boxes as their enemies would be able to see an oversized tire and move out of the way. 5 of the spider bots begin to quickly close in on Umbra as one of the assassins proceeds to do the same. The remaining spider bots proceeded to head toward the covers the group were hiding behind as each assassin did the same proceeding to each of them target an individual. The source of the sound is made apparent with the appearance of spider bots which began to scurry toward the group. Not too far, they could see humanoid sword wielding enemies spread out all over. They were jumping around the arena as if it were a casual stroll. Even farther behind them, they could barely make out other figures aiming at them. They had just locked onto the aerial targets and have each fired a shot at them. Carol begins to get up from being restored as she begins to prepare another arrow. The group look around noting not only the wolves underground but the giant worm near them as well. As they prepared for the next move, Umbra was suddenly pulled out and transported back to the center of his team's arena. "Time's up. And here I expected you to swing that axe of yours on them more." The area looked like a typical industrial factory. The ground was once again solid and easy to walk in, but there were a few conveyor belts that would certainly move anyone standing on them. They also hosted a few boxes on top of them that could be used as cover, although it seemed that a powerful attack could destroy them. There also wasn't anything stopping them from simply being picked up and moved around although any attempts to do so would find them to be somewhat heavy. No enemies could be seen from the edge. Only once the group got inside the area would they receive any evidence of enemy presence, in the form of the sound of various metallic legs scurrying about. "Are you going to just stand there?" Umbra would prove too slow as Ricky easily leapt over Umbra and immediately stabbed him in the back with his dagger before giving him a swift kick to knock him down. The slightly extra defense would prevent an instant elimination but this would soon end up being a double edged sword as the effects of the dagger's poison would quickly make itself known. A nauseating effect would affect Umbra as even trying to move would be incredibly hard with the dizzying effects he would be experiencing. The system wouldn't consider it an elimination, so he wouldn't be returning back to his team until his time ran out... Ricky headed over to his fallen comrade as Alena would come over to heal her back to fighting shape. The giant rock proceeds to crush the worm underneath. "That's the last of them. When the portals opened Ricky would immediately throw shurikens at the ones near him to intercept the wolves before they came out. Carol would leap into the air and push herself away with a blast of wind magic as the worm leaped from underneath where she stood as the arrow in her bow began to glow. She allowed herself to land laying up as she began to aim at the worm coming down while Ricky moved in to throw more shurikens at the wolves near Carol before she shot her arrow aiming straight down the worm's throat. With the worm still recovering from it's attack, Lightflare's attack manages to hit allowing Anwalt and Melina's follow up attacks to land. With so many attackers at once, Raina's attack would land as well causing the worm to reel back from the attacks. The worm still stood, but it was clear that there was barely any life in it. When the portals opened, both figures quickly moved out of the way and proceeded to fire arrows/shurikens respectively at the wolves. Though their team was keeping the other enemies distracted, one of their worms had targeted them and was heading for Carol The impact from the attack is enough to stun the worm as it lets out a pained screech. The worm proceeds to eat the orbs which proceed to destroy its insides. The final worm comes out of the ground in front of Anwalt, Melina and Raina and proceeds to "stand up" looking at the group briefly before it spat out what seemed to be some type of sludge that would severely hamper their movements if they get caught in it. (Huh, it's not supposed to do that yet. Might have been programmed to do that if it was the last one standing. Ah well, I'm sure they can handle it. They can enjoy this early preview.) "I'm afraid I don't." "Well ok...that's fair, I guess. Not everyone is part of a family where everyone is a merchant." "Regardless, I believe he's only interested in looking for information. Just lend him yours in the mean time." "Can I at least charge him for it?" "...." "Fine fine. I kinda like this side job too much to get fired and it IS good for my usual business. All right, promise not to mess too much with it and you can use mine for a bit, ok?" Anna proceeded to take out her phone

"That's quite some handy transportation, although I do wonder if it was a good idea to have half the team out of combat even if for a moment..." Once Umbra enters the portal, he arrives on the arena of the enemy team, an exact mirror of theirs....except for the faded colors in their environment although this seemed to be an effect applied for the invader. He himself was covered by a dark aura that served as a weak barrier. His targets were incredibly easy to spot, as to him, they were glowing bright red, could see their brightness through any other objects and could even tell the figures apart. The enemy team's progress was behind their own as they still had a HA soldier and a few shielders along with some worms. "All right, let's see what you can do. Pick your target or rush in. They already know you're invading." Caroline and Ricky's figures could be seen heading outward looking around in search of the invader. Alena's figure could be seen getting closer to the rest of the team who continued to focus on dealing with the enemies. One of the worms leapt at Raina and proceeded to eat a helping of lightshow skittles before being torn apart from the inside. However, just like with Lucent and Light before, a second worm would immediately attack Raina from below. The remaining worm that had attacked Lucent earlier had burrowed under ground and headed for Raina as well. Under normal circumstances this would have worked, but these aren't normal circumstances. The impact of the fist gets severely weakened as the soft sand absorbed it causing the explosion of energy to be weakened as well. Unfortunately, this means the attack is nowhere near strong enough to take out the incoming worm who proceeds to turn him into its meal. Even if the attacks themselves wouldn't have finished them off, it did allow the wolves to tear right through them as they wouldn't be able to hold them off any longer. Unable to free themselves on time or being able to defend themselves from this attack, the wolves are able to strike the shielders and defeat them. Raina's attack disrupts the leap as the giant worm gets caught in the tornado. It would remain in the air for a little while before it attempted to burrow itself underground again. The other worms proceeded to head toward Raina. Wave 2/5  Sand Worms x3 (1 damaged)  Invasion Portal: Ready! (Next charge: 4/25) Enemy Invader: Absent

The worm proceeds to eat him. The lightning bolt however, saves him as the worm becomes fried from the inside. Unfortunately for Light, he is given no time to rest as the other worm nearby proceeds to immediately attack, determined to avenge it's....erm.....brother?.....friend?.....ally. The combined might of the two fighters is too much for the heavily armored soldier and is promptly defeated. The HA soldiers holding continue to hold off the wolves despite the damage proving their toughness. However, they are left helpless from enemy attacks if their allies don't save them. Their only allies nearby are the shielders who are just about to finish freeing themselves from the sand... The shielders quickly begin to cease their escape attempts and defend themselves with their shields. With the HA soldiers pinned holding the drilling wolves and the shielders pinned with their own problems, it seems the remaining the soldiers are doomed....unless the team somehow finds a way to screw this up. The worm proceeds to get crushed by the large boulder and is put down. However, just like in Light's case, Lucent is immediately attacked by the other nearby worm. The worm that went underground suddenly leaps from behind him and begins to attack. The other worm awaits its partner ready to strike the moment Light allows an opening on his next move. The combination of attacks from Melina and Rain are enough to take down the heavy armored soldier as it falls. "Oh hey, that kill just opened up the portal to the other side for you guys. You know, if you want to mess with the other team a bit." The HA soldiers drop their weapons and focus on stopping the drilling motion of the wolves with their hands. Believing their target to have been blinded, the shielders being to start trying to get themselves unstuck from the ground. The HA soldier Anwalt targets manages to get caught by the sudden attack and gets struck, dropping his weapon in the process. Despite taking heavy damage, it seems the soldier could still fight as it began to scramble to get up, its heavy armor and sudden damage making the process slow. The worm that burrowed underneath suddenly strikes from below Lucent. The nearby worms preparing themselves to follow up should it be necessary. The ground shaking around Lightflare furthers buries him under. One of the worms burrows underground as the other one continues to be visible and continues to circle Light awaiting for his next move The soldier anticipates a counter attack after a missed shot and leaps to the right to narrowly avoid the strike. He suddenly drops his weapon and rushes forward in an attempt to catch Melina in a bear hug. Unable to target the wolves, the sand begins to loosen underneath as the soldiers begin to sink. Two of the HA soldiers try to grab the wolves as to not waste their shot on them as the third one shouts at the shielders who proceed to create a blinding flash with their shields in an attempt to interfere with Umbra's attack. The worms targeting him continued forward as one of them burrowed under while the remaining ones remained visible. The orbs would connect but the Heavy Armor allows the soldier to endure the hit and continue his attack. Although it was clear that he was indeed damaged from it. When Lightflare stomps the ground, he is given a quick reminder of the current terrain as the soft sand absorbs the impact of his forceful stomp. The ground shaking causes Light to sink deeper into the terrain as the worm "swam" circles around him. Another owrm arrives and join in, helping to cut off Light's movement options. The HA soldier recovers from his swing and proceeds to aim his weapon and fire. At this short distance and with the power the weapon had, it would also adopt "armor break" properties. The shield soldier got into position to cut off any escape before... With the shielder focused on Melina it was unable to react in time to defend himself from the orb. The remaining soldiers proceeded to rush toward Umbra. The HA soldiers tried to use their remaining shielders as cover as they moved closer. If they got fairly close, the Shielders would proceed to have their shields create a blinding light infront of them in an attempt to disable their close adversary. The remaining worms proceeded to head directly toward Lucent intending to attack him. Wave 2/5  Sand Worms x5 Shield Soldiers x2 Heavy Armor Soldiers x4  Invasion Portal: Off (24/25) Enemy Invader: Absent

The worm would screech as it was struck before the force of the attack tore a hole right through it's skin One of the worms proceeded to head toward Lightflare, although it was aiming to be in front of him rather than going for him directly as if to stop him from advancing. The worm cuts it's distance short and simply burrows back underground just behind Melina. The HA Soldier proceeded to swing at Melina with enough force to knock her down if the attack hit. One of the shield soldiers came over to assist the HA soldier positioning to cut off Melina's attempts at escaping. The remaining HA soldiers had finished charging up their weapons. They proceeded to let out a shout and point toward the group as the shield soldiers proceeded to bang the front of their shields as a taunt. They picked up their pace in marching toward the group as they began to approach their nearest enemy. One of the worms split off and went to aid the one that was to block Lightflare as it proceeded to head behind Light. The other two worms went further ahead intending to attack their backline. You got banned from MA, didn't you? Yea, I figured that one by looking at Diz's actions over the past....2-3 years or so. And while I can't prove it, I'm absolutely sure the DDOS that happened in April was MA's doing(Whether it was Dizzy or one of his MA zealots) My opinion hasn't changed, in fact his recent actions has further reinforced my thoughts. Archive is a good idea in theory, but it's run by the worst kind of people. It's from a video game. One of the best fighting game series even.
