Hello everyone, I know we all love our home (MFFA).
Well I've been paying for it solo for almost 8 years now, At first It was no problem, but now being married with wife and child. You could say I'm having financial difficulties.
I've added a Donation button to the right side of the forum on the top. I understand some of you are young and may not be able to donate that is fine, so don't sweat it.
Its been getting more and more challenging to pay for the site, Its not a single payment either, its the Hosting, The Domain Registration, and Invision Power Board. 3 Separate Payments and varying prices.
It takes alot for me to ask for donations regarding this, But i'm running out of options. Here are possibilities. (Not what will happen, but what COULD happen)
- We get ad's
- We lose the MFFA Board/Chatroom, and move on to something similar such as PHPBB (which is what we had before, and full of bugs and spam/porn bots (remember those botwar days boys?))
- We lose the forum all together and we just have a main page similar to Mugen Coder.
This is a very serious thing, Otherwise I'd never make an announcement on it. Also I'd like everyone to thank Alexei for supplying this years Domain Registration Fee's.
I will make a topic in the Admin & You, section if anyone wants to discuss this matter.
