For those of you who are unaware, on February 23rd, 2017 it was announced that Cloudflare, a web performance and internet security company whose platforms service numerous websites around the world, had suffered from a data leak as a result of a bug in their HTML parser that had gone undetected since at least September of 2016. Among the data leaked included customer and user passwords, cookies, private messages, and other sensitive data. Needless to say, Discord's servers were one of over 4,000,000 websites utilizing Cloudflare's services; as such, it would not be far-fetched to assume that any user data on Discord may have been potentially compromised. Since MFFA utilizes Discord's server for our own chatroom, we strongly urge everyone to change your passwords in order to protect your user privacy and security in the aftermath of this data leak.
